Opinion on personal trainer for WLS patients
I am seriously considering getting certified as a personal trainer within the next year here in Fort Worth. I am 8 years out from my RNY surgery and have maintained 150lb weight loss.
My goal would be to work with other WLS patients offering personal training and boot camps that enhance their weight loss keeing in mind their lower calorie intake and limitations early on.
As WLS patients do you think you would relate better to someone who has walked in your shoes? Looking for feedback :)
Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian
GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

But I'd have to do it on the weekends if at all possible....:(
- Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose. Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email. I'll answer it as soon as possible.

AB-SO-LUTE-LY !! I think that would be a great marketing feature..plus a truly great "gift to humanity", to share your wisdom, as you continue to keep yourself healthy, and get yourself a business built up, etc..sounds like a WIN/WIN for ALL to me !!
I've been searching lately for a program that focuses on "woman of age"...for lack of a kinder phrase..lol...meaning 50-ish...who just can't seem to keep up with younger/fitter Zumba-ers, but WANT to exercise, and not feel like a back row walrus...
Ok..where do you live, and how many guinea pigs do you need ?????

I took the liberty of looking at your pictures. I am in awe!!! I did the Dallas White Rock Half-Marathon, the past 2 yrs, and always have thought about doing a Warrior run, but have let myself get too out of shape now, to do a Warrior CRAWL..much less a RUN !!!!
You look FABULOUS--keep up the GREAT habits, and PLEASE, PLEASE keep us updated !!!!
