Spending the next couple of days reading how to feed your family cheap cookbooks. This young man staying with us is killing my food budget. (But, you know I would not change the situation for all the money in the world.)
Helping him try to ponder what to do once he graduates in December. Of course, mom does the same and has no idea what she wants to do. Mom has to find a job for 15 years....and then she can retire.......

ANNE-I am terrible, with cooking AND money...but, being the "mama of the frat house" here, I had to learn a few things. The crock pot was my best friend. I could take cheap cuts of meat, throw in soup/veggies/etc, and the whole thing would turn out looking/tasting like I actually knew what I was doing. Often times I could feed 4 people-2 of them being knuckle dragging teenage boys- for under $10/meal
