PLEASE give Gina an update
HI Gina!
I too have been MIA. lol How's your new job doing? I hope great!!
I've just been busy with my little one, Scentsy, with hubby's new job which he loves so much easier on his back & for him. I have a meeting with the nurses dept. May 22nd. woot-woot praying they accept some of my Sciences. I've been at a stall with my weight loss which is frustrating. My hip has been hurting, but I'm still moving along, just taking it easy on my workout until I feel it better. Actually today's its not that bad :)
Hope all is well ur way!!

JOVI-YES YES YES-continue listening to your body, when it is TALKING to you! Remember Nursing 101??? "Pain is what the patient says it is"..and right now YOU are the pt, and your hip is telling you it HURTS...Use other parts of your body to exercise..and do NOT NOT NOT be like a certain..ahem..redheaded Nurse Diva, who tore a thigh muscle, during the White Rock 1/2 marathon, way back 5 months ago, and has convinced herself it's still a vaild excuse to be a slug...who do I think I'm kidding???...certainly not the scale!!!!
Soooooo excited about you doing the school thing--SUPER woot woot!!!!
My cousin, who lives in Spring, recently became a Scentsy consultant, and has been having so much fun with it. She was up here this weekend, and nearly glowed when she talked about the new product lines..
Glad your hubby's job is going well. My new digs are still a bit overwheming-walked into a hot mess, of several months/maybe years of compliance stuff either not done, or totally jacked up, so--to say it's a "challenge", is putting it mildly..but I know I CAN do it, and the owners are very appreciative, and I thrive on public displays of praise (way better than money!). I guess it comes from being one of 6 kids-and the only fat kid of the family-never got "praised" much-so crave it, and appreciate it now..
Didn't mean to write you a novel..Can you tell I have really, really MISSED you ??????

- Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose. Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email. I'll answer it as soon as possible.

PHYLLIS-I'm sooooooo glad you have cut down on some of that work time. You NEED to have some "Phyllis time". I've been trying to keep up with my peeps, via FB, which I can sorta read on my phone, and saw you talking about going swimming on weekends. I am SO proud of you for doing this.
KUDOS for Amanda, for taking charge of her health. How my life would have been different, if I had lost weight when I was her age..but, maybe I wouldn't have had Corbin and Chris, so I guess I need to just be content with how things are..
Are you still playing piano at the nursing home? And at church? A friend of mine is the director of an Alzheimer's facility near Ridgmar Mall, in west Ft Worth (where MEGGIE works-very near Central Market). If you ever get a hankering to go out that way, and play for some peeps who would be TOTALLY thrilled, let me know, and I'll hook you up, and go with you. They are always looking for volunteers to do things for their sweet residents..
Hope to see you soon. It has been way way way way too long--would love to see AMANDA also !!
