Good morning! I you have an assistant of any sort, don't forget that it is Admin Professionals day so thank the heck out of them. And if you are an administrative professional- THANK YOU for all that you do!

Good morning, ALISSA and all! I got up way before the alarm..nervous energy, I guess..

I start the new job today...guts are nervous...What if I wear the wrong clothes?...What if I say the wrong thing?...What if they make fun of my Princess lunchbox?...What if the cool kids don't like me?...My friend/new boss assured me, via text, last night that SHE and I ARE the "cool kids"..but I'm still nervous...She tends to be....ummm....pushy, to the point of being unpleasant...Ok..she's a biotch sometimes..but she and I get along fine..As work partners, in the past, we played "good cop/bad cop" alot-with me being the GOOD cop, with our nurse aides, etc. My fear is that my new co-workers may pre-judge me and THINK I will be "just like her" because they know we have a past history. It will make it harder to win them over. All I can do is just BE ME..that's hard enough !! I know that in a month from now this will all be ancient history, but..right now..my guts are nervous...

THANK YOU to all the Administartive Professionals today!!! Would be a VERY disorganized world without them-NOTHING would get done!

 Good Morning Alissa, Gina and TMB Family,

Had a interesting night last night.   I went to TC in Azle for Tues night chapel and was almost there when one of the staff called me to let me know that the guys were all on their way to a church in Fort Worth.    I was in my CRV with over 4 dozen brownies I had baked ( dangerous huh ?   LOL ).    I did go on to the center to leave them ( a student was there ) .   Actually I ended up staying there for about 3 hours visiting with the student and one of the former graduates and some other people coming in and out of there.     I did leave the brownies but I was there to give one of the guys some Tylenol  ( he had a fever and wasn't feeling well at all ).   I got a call from my son in TCSA last night and he was fund raising at Sams Club last weekend and a tire flew off the side of a big truck and struck this 70 yr old woman talking with them and  hit him in the head also.   He said he had a nasty gash in his face and wanted to warn me so I wouldn't freak out when I see him tomorrow night.    He said he should have had stitches but they guys thought he would be alright.   He said he's all scabbed up.   I was kinda freaking out on the phone wanting to know for sure that he was really alright.    I'm leaving early in the AM to go there and not 100% sure I will take my laptop with me.   Please keep me in your prayers as I drive tomorrow and return on friday night.    Have a blessed day everyone.

Vivian, sorry about your son. I pray that he feels better. Maybe a good idea to get it checked out. Have a safe trip :)

 Thank you Jovi.   Not 100% sure when this happened.   Last night was the first time I had heard from him in 9 days.    He said their phones had been messed up and down.  I imagine it happened last weekend though since that is when they are out fundraising.    I'll have to check out how he looks.   it's probably too late to do anything though.

Heading back north after a relaxing two days here.  BN has a job interview in Corsicana this AM.  Fingers crossed that she hits pay dirt.

Gina, good luck on the new job today

Work and a trip to pick up dry cleaning is all on my agenda. Neighborhood kids should come by this afternoon to walk the dog. Besides paying them I give them a snack and bottle water and now they are coming to often and bringing extra friends and wanting something to drink even if i don't have them walk the dogs so I plan to let them know today they can't be coming all the time. DH told them Sunday they come to much and have not seen them but Wed is the day I pay them to walk the dogs. They are good kids just get tired of them to showing up.

Going to try to doze off before I start my day.

Today I feel lousy, back is still bothering me & now my left hip. Wow haven't felt this way in such a long time, so today will be home resting. Well whatever rest I can get with 2 yr. old. Other than that everything else is great.
 

Hubby started his new job on Monday & so far he's liking it. Love seeing him in a suit :) His last job he had a uniform. Well I hope everyone has a wonderful WED!!
