ALL ABOARD !!!

Good morning, my lifelines! I have been channeling my "inner LIZ" the past several hours. Y'all know how much I like my sleep, and how when it gets dark outside that it my clue it is "gown:thirty"... Rarely am I awake after 9pm, because I get up about 4am...Last night it was at least 10:30 before I went to sleep, then I was wide awake at midnight. I flipped around, for awhile, then got up..came to the recliner..watched mindless drivel..etc...etc..slept about 10 for each hour..so NOW I'm sleepy...tough crap-huh??? Now it's time to hit the shower and start the REAL day...crap..crap...crap...

These last days of work are being a BEAST...I've always been the kind to try not to leave "loose ends", but...crap...so much to teach, and peeps not learning very well/quickly...I guess I just did things so automatically-and made stuff up, as I went along, that it's kinda hard to show someone else how to work past the "glitches"..and not everyone can multitask, with all of the noise, and interruptions...

I purposely told my buddy/boss I did NOT want a "going away party", so just a few of us are going out to dinner tonight...

I talked to CHARLENE last night, and encouraged her to come to OH-and, in particular to come back to the train. She was hesitant, I think, since she has been gone so long. If she is on your FB, or in your email, pls contact her and offer her your support, at coming "back to us", and let her know how much you miss her!

Ok..time to get with it..for real this time...

Somebody call me, and wake me up later...I'll be the one under my desk..snoring...

Morning! I was tired last night. Ate supper and dozed and watched tv and then went to sleep and still slept all night. Go figure.
Today is a long day too. TCC Downtown Campus is hosting a job fair for people with disabilities in 2 weeks and today I'm training the volunteers on how to assist people with visual impairments who are needing assistance going from booth to booth, talking to employers, etc. Unfortunately the training is from 3-5pm. My part is at 4 but I am driving a coworker who is a volunteer and she has to be there at 3pm. Oh well. I need to find a few more volunteers from our office for the actual day of. Unfortunately I won't be there- I'll be in San Angelo. It couldn't be helped.

That's about it from here. One of our 2 Vocational Rehab Teachers is on leave indefinetly and we don't know why-which is fine, as she doesn't have to tell us and its not our business- but she's a sweet gal who loves her job so I"m sure its serious. PLease keep Patty in prayers.

Good morning. Busy week that is flying by for me. I have a new grand nephew born yesterday afternoon in Dallas. Mim so looking forward to seeing him in a couple of weeks. I can't make the trek up there on a weekend until then. I seemed to be booked every weekend for about 5-6 weeks.

ThIs weekend is Aggie Muster, for which I have to provide food and our churches annual freedom climb to honor a local fallen soldier and I have to work the climb. Next weekend is a scheduled work weekend for my new office. My dad is coming for it. The weekend after that I'll take off Friday and Ben will finish finals and we will see baby Jack and head Saturday morning to Marshall to ETBU graduation for a good friend. The next Friday is Ben's Aggie graduation, then his party Sunday, which is also Mothers Day. T

Time flies when you are having fun.

KARLA--you can't leave us hanging--we need some stats!!! amt of hair/wt/etc/etc/...you know how we are!!! My grand nephews and nieces are WAY special to me...can't wait to get some grandbabies of my own..but can't imagine loving THEM any more than I do my siblings' grandbabies...

Ian, Kylee, Brayden, FordV (45, for short), Noah, Ayden and Emma have "GiGi" 's heart FOR SURE..and an awful lot of her $$ !!

Wow..can't believe Ben is graduating already...the years have just flown..I know you and Ross must be bursting with pride..How big a scrapbook have you mad him THIS time???..lol

 Good Morning Gina, Alissa, Karla and TMB Family,

Not much going on in my side of the world so far today.    I've been in my 26 yr. old's bedroom moving my "baby things" for my granddaughter for my house and for her as baby shower gifts.    Yesterday I bought the same car seat and base for me as I bought for my son and DIL and I also bought a stroller.   Mine are used that I got a amazing deal on Craigslist ( used only a few times and look like brand new ).   I was lucky it wasn't sold.   Life is good !!!   I can't wait to get to see my son next week at their Teen Challenge banquet.    It's hard to imagine how very "thin" that he was.    I had to find a picture of him at his thinnest and that was 3 yrs. ago.    Not sure what he weighted but it was when my youngest graduated from high school.    I had taken a photo of the 3 of them at his graduation.    They are going to show before TC and now photos of the men at the banquet.   I'm excited because I will get to spend next friday with him too.   He is taking his monthly 8 hour pass and we are going to go to Sea World then.    Hope everyone has a great day and Gina...hope you make it OK through the next couple of days.    Have a blessed day ya'll !!!

VIVIAN-are you decorating "Lily's room" in any special theme? GiGi is  trying to plan ahead here...

 I am not decorating her a room in my house.    My middle son is moving back home when he graduates Teen Challenge in August but Lily's Mom and Dad are decorating her room in Owls !!!   I can say  I was VERY SURPRISED that they are putting owls in a "baby girls" room but the owls are really cute.    I did also pick up a pink owl blanket at Target.    Can't believe owls for a little girl but oh well....I am a TOTALLY different generation than they are and I totally think different about things too.        This is one of the owl blankets that they registered for at Bye  Bye Baby.   I did buy this one too.   It is VERY CUTE.   But they didn't register for bumper pads.    Imagine that.   LOL  I did buy some "breathable bumper pads"    in pink for them.   Kids think different today than we did with OUR kids.   LOL   I'm a bargain shopper so I'm using whatever is reasonable that I can find for my house.   I already have a stroller, car seat with base, high chair, swing, pack and play, exercauser and that is for MY house.   LOL  So you can see....I have been shopping for my baby things when she is at our house.    She's going to be SO spoiled.    LOL.    But a spoiled baby is a LOVED one.    Just hope she has her Momma's demples.    Lily may end up with a room at my house if my son decides to get a apartment but I don't really see that happening real soon.    He needs to get his life back on track and not try to get out on his own too soon.   Don't ever want a repeat performance of the first part of his life.   LOL   Have a  great evening.

VIV-you NEED duplicate stuff at your house, so her parents don't have to drag stuff back and forth. You need to be on the look out for at least a small dresser, cuz you are going to need a place to put the million of outfits WE are going to get for her.

I really like that owl motif-it's different-but so is her name. It's great to be unique. My boys had their nursery in Disney babies. I still have both their blankets and the clothes they wore home from the hospital.

 LOL  I already have a small 3 drawer chest for her things at my house.   My son I know thinks I am CRAZY for buying all this stuff for my house.    You'd think at being almost 31 yrs. old he would have figured out I am trying to save them from having to MOVE ( or at least feel that way ) everytime they come over after she is born.   LOL   I'm thrilled that I have found all the bargains that I have for them and for my house.    Miss Lily is going to be SO rotten !!!  LOL
