Tuesday WLS Express
Good morning, all! I couldn't get logged on yesterday morning, then just never got another opportunity to back in. I should LET life get too busy to get in HERE--with the peeps I need SO badly, and love SO much...
Busy week, in my world. I'm squishing 5 days into 4, as I'm taking off Friday. I'm going to Austin, a day ahead of the rest of the family, to spend some 1:1 time with my younger brother, who gets there today, from his home, in Nebraska. I can't even remember the last time I had him "to myself"-even for a few hours. I'll also get to spend Easter with his grandbabies, Ayden and Emma (the ones in my recent FB pics). It's a win/win!
The "job offer" thing, from a couple of weeks ago, is back on the table, and they have sweetened the pot-throwing in better benefits and things that mean more to me (like hands-on patient time). My current job position is taking me further and further away from the pt bedside, so it's alot to consider. I THOUGHT the matter was over and done with. Crap..but it's a GOOD crap, to "have" to deal with, I guess !!
Soooooo happy to see GINNY up and at 'em! Have I missed an update on AMANDA?
Time to get in gear-so glad the OH tech grimlins looked kindly upon me, this morning, and allowed me to log in...now...crossing fingers that this post will hold....
LOVE Y'ALL !!!

We Can Do Hard Things
SO glad that they sweetened the deal for you Gina. Sounds like this may be a "God thing", Amanda is doing well...she came to our breakfast on saturday. She still needs to talk it easy and not do too much...even 25 yrs. old can do too much. LOL Please pray for my middle son's GF's parents. They are BOTH in jepordy of losing their jobs. In fact my son's GF ended up in ER yesterday and I have a feeling stress from the news of her parents losing their jobs caused that CVS disease to raise it's ugly head and attack her. So please also keep Kendall in your prayers. I too had NO issues this AM posting. Not sure what has been going on with OH and those issues but I have had major issues changing forums for quite sometime in the AM. Hope those issues are over finally. Have a wonderful and great day today everyone,
Hugs and blessings ~~ Vivian

VIVIAN-prayers being extended for Kendall and her family. I always realize how blessed I am to be in a "fruitful" profession, and never take it for granted.
I know the OH "geeks" are fervently trying to "upgrade" the systems, so I just try to be patient when things don't go the way I want them to. I'm just thankful OH is HERE--I'd be long dead without it

Today will be a repeat of yesterday, work work work. We'll be keeping an eye on the weather so I know when / if I need to give dog meds as it is hard to work with a 75lb dog is climbing on your desk and lap.
Gina, I am sure you will make the right decision just follow your heart,
Viv, praying for the family facing possible job lose

Today we, well I am finishing up laundry. Potty training begins. I know he understands b/c he has been going once a day in the potty just to get to flush the toilet & do the potty dance. He actually makes himself go..lol Too funny. I bought pull ups & if anyone has suggestions pass them along. :)
And same ole' same, scentsy things..lol Oh yeah will def. call the college today to see if they received my transcripts & make an appt. hope they accept the majority of them!!
Also if anyone knows someone that does, carpentry, remodels? We have to get our closet redone due to a pipe that busted a few weeks ago & looking for a few estimates. Thanks I'm in Rowlett by Dallas if anyone knows anyone I'd appreciate it!!

JOVI-my "boys" are big now-22 and 20-but I VIVIDLY remember the potty training days!
The 2nd one was easy..day care did it..lol...the 1st one was a bit tougher..but he remembers it, he said..He said his fave part was "the Cherrios". I would throw a Cheerio in the toilet, and he would "aim at it"..granted, his "aim" wasn't too great, at first...and...to this day, I can't eat Cherrios...but, it served it's purpose, for the potty training thing.!!!
What worked for my nephew, recently, was getting him "super" underwear. First it was Ninja Turtles, then SpongeBob, then Angry Birds. He didn't want to "pee on SpongeBob" (which I didn't understand, since SB lives under the ocean anyway, but you get the idea)..
Hope some of this rambling helps you, and your little mister!!!
