Work is all I have on my agenda and most of it will be spent on the phone in meetings so not looking forward to getting started. Need to add buy lottery ticket on my to do list.

Wow! It's a short train today! Funny I should be riding it!! lol
I'm done for a few weeks being a potty monitor. It's more boring than anything...which makes for a super long day. I started reading Les Miserables and long about page 5 I found myself drifting off to nap zone. Luckily there's two monitors so I asked my partner in crime if she'd handle the fort while I got some coffee and a walk. Nothing too eventful happened thank goodness. If there's ever any type of problem then it has to be documented and sent to the state for review..yada yada... I'd hate to be the ONE that created long hours of written documents because I messed up. So crazy that there's so much pressure.

Today hubby has a job interview, not sure how I feel about it b/c he's been with his current company for 5 years since out of the military & the benefits are great. To start over, I don't know. I guess we'll weigh the pros & cons. Me, diary of a housewife (for now) LOL fridge is cleaned, kitchen cleaned, floors done, bedrooms cleaned..lol Will be shopping for the house & later this evening taking our son to Disney on Ice.

I live in Spring(near Houston).
I was supposed to have my surgery 10/2010 - but several other surgeries trumped that one.
Now, I am ready to go...but I'm waiting to get the phone call from the new doctor's office.
I'm hoping that I can watch ya'll, and get some insights on what to do, what not to do...so I am successful.
I need to update my profile, but can't figure out how to change the doctor....
but, as soon as I have a date, I'll be adding that in.

Welcome.... there are a lot of very knowledgeable people on here. Just ask away- if someone doesn't know the answer then they will probbaly forward it on to someone who does. I'm sorry your surgery got postponed. Hope things are goign well now and you get a new date soon.

Quick intro--I'm Gina AKA Nurse Diva..will be 10 yrs post RNY next month..half my pre-op size..200% healthier..been a bumpy road..it's STILL bumpy, but I wouldn't trade it for anything...mom of 2 man-creatures, ages 20 and 22, Hospice nurse...
