Wednesday WLS Express
Good morning, my TMB family! Short night...I was gone from 05:00 yesterday morning, until midnight, on the whirlwing, round trip trip to Pearland, for my SIL's mom's funeral. It was held at my brother and SIL's house, with the guest of honor "lying in state"in the "front room"-like people did in the old days. She was on a special "day bed" thing, instead of in a coffin. It was really quite beautiful, and touching, once you got over the initial creep factor. My sister and I redid her hair and lipstick, after the funeral folks moved her in..again..different..but touching...
Lots of lots of work today waiting on me today-no doubt-Wednesdays are always busy, and I have whatever piled up yesterday to tackle also. Good old job security!
I'd better go read yesterday's posts and catch up a bit, before I get ready to tackle this day. LOVE y'all more than you can know!

We Can Do Hard Things
So sorry Gina I forgot about the funeral yesterday. I guess it is telling MY age but I remember people laying in state in homes. I remember as a small child ( under 6 ) seeing one of my Dad's cousin in the living room of her house in a coffin. It IS creepy but that is the way they DID things in the OLDEN days. LOL Geezzz....so glad things changed. LOL I'm having my "GRAND DOGS" today. UGH I see LOTS of jumping and running for my doggies. LOL I have small dogs and my son has HUGE German Shepherds. SO I guess I better get off here. Just got the call that they are on their way. Have a great day everyone.

I have returned to my office today after being off work (vacation ) yesterday - if you wanna call being at appt after appts a vacation !! but all is good..
Amanda had her extensive nurse's education on her surgery and pre-diet instructions yesterday at Dr. Kim's office. All is well and Amanda is getting super excited......I remember when I was excited !! lol
Busy busy busy today - as Gina says - GOOD OLE JOB SECURITY!! I gotta get going....
