Good morning, my TMB family! I slept really well, again, last night. I'm guessing I have officially reached "Old Lady status"..in bed, watching TV..alone...by 8pm, on a Saturday night...and HAPPY about it...Less than 2 yrs ago I was just getting dressed to LEAVE the house at 8pm..

Had a wonderful meeting at CM yesterday-thanks to MEGGIE, TRACEY and ALISSA. For me, it's not about "numbers"-it's about SUPPORT-and these ladies were my saving grace yesterday. After group T and took Blake to Cook's for a little ER action (he's a rough/tough boy-they may as well dedicate a room to him-for future trips). He cliimbed off a bed, yesterday morning, and whacked his eye area on the hard part of an extension cord-big scrapes above and below the eyeball-too close for comfort. The ER staff was GREAT-and there were no scratches on the eyeball-got out with script for antibiotic eye ointment-then drug poor Blake to the mall, for retail therapy...

No big plans today..I hope..would rather maintain my "old lady" status for a few more hours, while watching my DVR'd shows from Thursday night...

Life is good !

Poor baby Blake! Glad he is ok. We had a few scares just like that with my niece Zoe when she was that age. It was kind of embarrassing to take her anywhere afterwards. I always felt like people were judging me. Lol
I'm not perfect but I'm me and that is good enough!

JENN-we went to mall, after the ER visit-we left his hospital ID bracelet on, so people would know we had sought medical attention for the poor little guy!

you are right Gina, Life IS good even on hard days there is some good

Liz you did pretty good on shout outs - I used to do them now and then and they aren't as easy as they seem:)

I am up and done with the E, siping coffee listening to bob the builder in the background

Good morning. I'm enjoying my weekend in Rowlett. Yesterday we had a good gathering of several members of our OH regain group. We fixed healthy dishes for lunch and shared recipes. We even picked up a new member yesterday that we are so excited about!

Hanging out today and doing a little shopping. Restaurant Ava for dinner tonight. clay bought Bender a birthday cake so when she got up this morning she had a surprise. She got a Disney Princess cake. She loved it. I love girlfriend weekends!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Karla

Good Morning Friends,
Today is going to be dedicated to mostly editing Chapter 3 of the dissertation, the Methods Chapter. I have to explain why Qualitative research is the way to go and specifically why Grounded Theory fits my study. Boring!

Have a great day!

Good day all! I think I will just start using that expression because most of you are up posting just a couple of hours after I go to bed. Morning just doesn't seem appropriate for you guys. Lol. This is my weekend to work but I like to call it my short week because it seems to go by much faster. Then it will be 4 days off. I do enjoy my mini vacations but I miss having a normal schedule where I could actually get some peep time in. Working nights and weekends is not conducive to being able to catch up with people who work a regular schedule. One of these days the stars will align and I will once again get some peep time in. Well off to get dressed for work. Time to get my day started. Love and blessings to all.

JENN-we'll take you ANY time we can get you!!

I know how "left out" I would feel when peeps when could do things on the weekends, when I had to work, but, then again, I LOVED being off, during the week, by myself-I got so much more done. Guess I can't have it both ways-huh???? My fave schedule was when I was working home health. My work partner and I switched off 4 days, at a time. The days were 12-14 hrs long, but the 4 days off were great, plus we had each other as back up if there was a work day we REALLY wanted off, we could just switch things up.

Have I told how proud I am of you for going back to school???

 Morning Gina and TMB family,

Thank God Blake wasn't hurt in that fall worse that just the scratches.   He's one lucky little guy !!!   Thank God my back isn't hurting today.    I stayed on that heating pad all day long yesterday.   It felt good but then it would get really hot.   Not much going on today.   I stayed home from church this AM to get some stuff done that I needed to do yesterday.    Have a great day today.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian
