Good Morning everyone. One of the benefits to my work schedule is it starts on the weekend and goes for four days so I don't have Mondays! LOL Up early due to my lovely hounds finding something interesting to bark at in the yard causing me to wake before my alarm. So that gives me time to post, drink some coffee, maybe actually FIX my hair before leaving for work. Honeybee aka Jason is going to fix breakfast so SCORE! Maybe the dogs should get treats after all. :) Nothing else planned for the day. When you work a 10 hour night shift you tend to only work on work days so really nothing interesting until my weekend. Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday.
Hey You Guys!
Wait Up! Wait Up! It's me...hold the door. In London whenever the Tube doors open a male recorded voice says "Mind the Gap"...meaning don't trip over the space between the subway car and the platform. I went to the station where they filmed Harry Potter, but there was no 1/2 marker for me to go off to Hogwarts for the day. My luggage (and myself) didn't disappear when I ran into the wall either...j/k. Sigh, I guess I'm a Muggle afterall.
I took Blake to see Santa yesterday. He didn't cry like I thought might happen, but he wasn't entirely thrilled with the experience either. He looked concerned. I guess he had a right though. I mean, what's a 10 month old supposed to think being hoisted on the lap of a fat bearded guy in a red suit, while he and his chubby wife lear at you?!??. I wish I could get his picture done every month with a person like Santa or the Easter Bunny. I figure its just Mickey Mouse training in motion. He is NOT allowed to be scared of Mickey Mouse. It's gonna be a long life if he is.
Nothing on the agenda today after work. I've been doing therapy and just had an ARD, I'm about to go to my home campus for the remainder of the day. Counting the days down to the 21st....and then I'm OUTTA HERE!
Hope everyone has an amazing day! LOTS of prayers!
Love you guys!
Tracey

good afternoon - finally hopping on -busy crazy week here but hey that's what I do best. homework to finish up before a meeting at 5 tonight plus I better make these guys and rach some dinner
we will leave for TX either Fri noonish or sat early in the am, I have gifts wrapped and Rach's cmas dress purchased - umm that is it as far as being ready to go -have to clean out the fridge plus buy stuff for the teen to eat since he is staying home - his choice, oh and get him a rosemary tree to decorate and buy his last gift - busy busy and all I want today is a nap LOL
spent a lot of the weekend getting Tim ready to go, crazy but after Cmas between training and when he leaves we have less than 2 weeks pre deployment - I'm gonna miss him but will be fine - always have been before - just hoping that I manage my weight better this time.
please keep Joseph in your prayers - he is our soldier who is very ill and hospitalized but doing better than they expected over all

Took last final for this semester today. Before I went to take that - went to get blood wk done for Dr. appt on Thursday. Did the blood wk at noon then headed to HEB and Dollar General. At 200pm - call from dr's office "Hemoglobin is at a critical level - you need to come right back in." So, headed back there and starting Wednesday am on iron transfusions.
They apologized for "scaring me", but how often would that happen in a big city? This small town living has something going for it!
Anyone here had iron transfusions? If so - tell me what to expect.

I have them every two months currently. They really aren't that bad. I have them give me benedryl before hand and that makes me pretty groggy for a while but I seem to handle it well. When I don't take benedryl I think I have a mild reaction that cause ne to be a little sick but with benedryl no problems. Sometimes I am tired until the next day. Functional but tired.
