FRIDAY WLS Express
I didn't hurt this morning.......YEAH.....so far so good - its amazing what kind of mood that "pain" puts you in.......OIY..........I am getting older and can't tolerate as much anymore.......but I don't wanna be a pansie either !! suck it up and deal with it..
Not much going on for me... May see Gina and Corbin at that finish line Sun morning...not sure yet - 1st of the month - = busy busy time in a payment processing center and if I work my butt off this month Jan starts a new year !! I'm so freakin' excited...
I'm volunteering on 12-10 at the Children's Miracle radioathon and then on 12-17 I'm vounteering for 4 hrs at the warehouse of North Texas Food Bank.....this is really my first REAL volunteering work - so I'm excited and nervous too......but I'll do fine.....trying to step out of my lazy and comfort level of not wanting to leave the house scenario
gotta get the head back down to work !! LUV YA all !!
- Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose. Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email. I'll answer it as soon as possible.

I've been ready for Friday since Monday. This was my first full week back at work since my extended tummy tuck and boy am I tired and ready for the weekend. I will say I'm doing better everyday but the swelling this week hasn't seemed to go down any. I'm only 6 weeks post op so I know I have a couple more weeks before the swelling really starts to go away. I can't wait to start really exercising again! I want to go to Zumba!
Today is just another uneventful day. Work, Lunch, Work, Visit with a friend for a bit after work and then home to relax.
Gina - Good Luck on the half marathon! You will do GREAT!
Well back to work...
Busy busy week here and I am ready for some down time -I am thinking I may just not get up tomorrow am LOL
got a nice boast today both my LTC and out going commander recognized me during their speeches at the change of command ceremony today - it is nice to be told in public when you do good :)
Got some hubby time in - needed that - time is short for us, for those that don't know he is getting ready to go down range again - limited details on here as it is important for his safety to keep things quiet but I took on some leadership responsibilities so I have one husband going and plus a battalion of other guys to worry about plus a crap load of wives that I am responsible for - it's gonna be a LONG year in 2012 for me and it has already started with prepping family briefings and fairs to get the wives information. working on getting lists together of all my pg wives esp and I am having a company Cmas party in 2 weeks b/c I am good like that LOL
Still in school and trying really hard to not let one of my learning team members get on my last nerve - she wants to play high school games and I have not the interest nor the time to play
peace
Danni
I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail
DANNI-I've known you a long time-and happen to know you THRIVE on being "uber-busy"..lol..Just imagine how 2012 will fly by for you, with all you have going on..and the more the time flies, the sooner you'll be HOME-with us-how ever many years it takes!!
The first year you're home, we're doing a race together-where you will promptly leave me in the dust--ok?

good luck on the 1/2 marathon... take care of your tootsies & water, water, water..
looking forward to the pics....
hey Liz, where/what time are you guys meeting for the "crossing of the finish line"
Vicki - turtle
(((((VICKI!!!!!!!)))))...so glad to see you on the train!!! You have been missed, more than you can know!!
If the race is anything like last year, the "slow" people..AKA me...didn't even to cross the START line until an hour after the race starts 9they put us in the back, behind the half nekkid android runners)--so the the "slow" people..AKA me..didn't cross the FINISH line until between 12-1pm, I think.. the official website www.runtherock.com has all the parking/Dart info, etc. It's all very safe/well organized/clean. The city of Dallas, the PD, the organizers, etc do a really awesome job.
