Anyone done a revision from lapband to RNY in Austin, TX?

I have an 8 year old lap band and have gained ALL of the weight back.  Am currently trying to get my original surgeon to do a revision, just wondering if anyone else hee on this Texas WL forum has had one.  I know there is a whole revision forum on here....but wanted to connect locally if possible!

I'm not in the Austin area (I live near Dallas) but I had a revision from a lapband to an RNY 4 years ago and it was the best decision I ever made.  I've been at goal for nearly 3 years.  I never actually lost any weight with my lapband and had it for 2 years.  If there is anything I can answer for you please feel free to ask.  Also my profile contains all the details, in case you feel like a little light reading, lol.
