Happy Mothers day to all the wonderful kinds of moms out there...Biological, adoptive, step(bonus), grands, Moms to be,trying to be moms, Godmothers,  furbaby moms and all other forms of mother hood out there! You are all special in your own unique ways and without you in our lives we wouldn't be the people we are today!!

They all have had their hands full with me for almost 48 years and I am who I am due to them and I can never thank them enough!!

Will head to early church and SS and then we are eating lunch at my sisters. Ben goes back to A&M this afternoon to take his finals starting tomorrow.

Good morning! Its mom's day-so happy day to all of those who are mom's to all kinds of children. Meggie you got a good deal being a grandma who gets to spoil without being a mean mom. lol.
I'm sure we don't have plans today and its okay. Our life has been really hectic the last few weeks. Bryan has been an incredible support too. He drove all the way down to New Braunfels after working a full day Friday. He visited with folks for 6 hours that he has no connection to since its Chris's father's family. That had to be weird. And he drove most of the way home. I had to drive for a while because he had a major IT issue at work and he had to remote in from his phone.
We stopped and got kolaches for the 2 people that asked for them. I don't like kolaches. These are the real ones-the pastries filled with fruit, not the sausage rolls that people around here call kolaches.

Happy Mother's Day to the mother's amongst us here on TMB.

While we're not taking ours to eat till later in the week my brother and I did get flowers, cards etc.  Mom has been after me to come visit the church she goes to in Athens so I'm headed there this morning before I make a coffee run to Tyler instead of my usual Ennis.  Besides, a little preaching is likely to do me some good! 

 I have already been up once this morning, and now I have had my morning nap.  I will be going to Dalton (near Chattanooga) to spend time with my Mom and Dad.  They are in an assisted living home, and let's just say that it can be very difficult emotionally to spend time with them.  The person in my Mom's body is not the Mom that I remember as a child.

It was better today than the last visit I had there.  Today when I got there she was still in the dining room eating her lunch.   She is a very good eater (has always been) but a very S-S-L-L-O-O-W-W eater.  We had a good visit back in their room.  At least all was good today.

Good morning, 

I don't really have any plans set in stone today expect going to Sunday School and not sure what we will do the rest of the day.  SIL and MIL went to OK this weekend, I have already lost my mother and I don't have kids myself so guess it will just be a typical Sunday around here.
