The only time I've experienced vertigo was due to a inner ear infection.  I'm sure there are other factors than can cause it.  Hopefully others will chime in.

Same here - inner ear infection.  Miserable while it is happening!

I've been diagnosed with it more times than I can count on 1 hand.   I feel that it is the emergency room diagnosis if all else fails when you go in for unexplained dizziness...etc..

I was in ND last summer on my last bout.  They prescribed the same meds as they gave me for nasea for the cruise !!  lol

I was down and miserable -  could't do crap for over 24 hrs....the first day  mainly in bed...:(
  • Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose.  Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email.  I'll answer it as soon as possible.

My grand mother had Meneier's syndrome or disease. She had terrible bouts of vertigo. It is a middle ear disorder. Straight vertigo can be caused by heights, but still from the middle ear problem.
