The Nicholson Clinic Dr Nick Reviews???
Hi Kimberly! I am the BFF that Kim T mentioned. LOL
I have used and LOVE Dr. Nick very much! Dr. Nick practices out of three different facilities in the area, and yes, he has put up some advertisements, but I think that is really because some of the other surgeons around here have done the same. He really has a passion for what he does, and cares about each and every one of his patients. He is a very busy man, yet when you are having concerns, he takes the time to personally call you, see you etc... When you have your appt with him, he will sit and talk with you at length, and doesn't rush you and makes you feel as if you are his only patient.
I have trusted Dr. Nick with my life four times. I had my gastric bypass in Dec 2008. This year has not been the best for me health wise.... Anything that can go wrong has. LOL. In May, I had an emergency surgery where Dr. Nick skipped clinic (had another dr fill in) so he could stay and operate on me himself... He repaired and internal hernia and bowel obstruction. Hernias are very common, both with weight loss surgery and without, and the bowel obstruction was due to some bowel being wrapped around scar tissue from cysts I had had. (nothing to do with my gastric bypass).
In July, I had an exploratory surgery then had my gallbladder removed. My gallbladder had stopped functioning completely and needed to be removed. This can happen for many reasons, whether you've lost weight or not. Dr. Nick once again stepped in and took great care of me. I love him and his staff to death... They have a passion for what they do and for their patients.
If you have any more questions, please feel free to message me, or email me at [email protected]
