Need a great PCP (Dallas, TX) that is ok with WLS
HI...I'm looking for great referral for PCP's in the Dallas area. My PCP is against WLS and thinks everyone can change their lifestyle and lose weight. I believed him for 6 years and now I've lost and gained too many times to count and I would rather change docs that go round and round with him.
Sorry...had to give the behind the music. Anywhoo....please let me know because I need one soon.

I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE my PCP, he is so caring and really thorough and easy to talk to.
I've been going to him for about 10 years and I've referred so many people to him and all that go love him too.
Unfortunately, he used to be in Dallas but is now in Frisco. I think it's worth the drive though.

I like my PCP a lot. She's super smart and no-nonsense but in a nice way, and she has several post-WLS patients. Her name is Wen Lai and she is at UT Southwestern. One thing I LOVE about Dr. Lai is that I can e-mail her through UTSW's MyChart system and she usually answers me within not hours, but minutes. She is obviously of Asian descent but don't worry about communication -- she was born here and speaks better English than I do.
