We are submitting to insurance today!

I just got off the phone with my surgeon's office and they have all my paperwork they need and will be submitting to insurance today. I am on cloud 9 right now! 7 long months of doing requirements and 29 years of praying for help and it's getting closer and closer! She said insurance has been responding back within 2-3 days so I may have an answer by Friday!!!!!! I can't wait to be on the losing side!!!!

Got my fingers crossed you get approval this week !!!!

Thanks ladies! I am so anxious to find out and more anxious to be able to set a surgery date. I have been dreaming about this for so long it still doesn't seem real that it's coming to a reality really soon! I will let you know as soon as I am approved and have a surgery date!

HA HA thanks Meggie! I am hoping my insurance doesn't take long. She said they have been responding really fast so I hope that is the case with me too! I have my cell phone sitting on my desk at work just in case I get a call, I normally don't keep my cell phone by me during work but this week it will be!

Word of warning...I got a letter 2 weeks after submitting saying ( this was my 3rd application,VERY long story stupid previous docs with terrible staffs disregard this part that is in parenthesis) I was declined. Burst into tears called Tammy the bariatric coordinator at Dr dyslins office. She said yes we are already working on it they said we sent TOO MUCH paperwork!!! She called me back the next day and I was approved. I again burst into tears!! I was at work and jumping up and down and everyone was hugging and high 5ing me and I had surgery 4 weeks later. Here I am 60 days from my 3 year surgiversary and loving life!!! Have patience and fight for what you want!!
