Back to Work Tuesday WLS EXPRESS
This weekend I was mostly alone - babies and momma left for Arkansas on Wednesday and didn't get home until late Sunday, and Miranda and teens left for Oklahoma on Friday and got home late last night. I took my mom shoe-shopping and to dinner on Wednesday, and met her, my brother, and my adult niece and nephew for dinner Sunday. Other than that, I did a little shopping, chores, and read two books.
Babies came over yesterday morning, and I got to keep them until late in the afternoon. Baby Ivy has grown a foot and decided to talk! Woogie was a brat most of the day - he probably misses all the fun he had in Arkansas.
That was about it.

Paige and I headed home from Steph's yesterday. I got home around 1:30 and then cooked and went to my nephews graduation party for his friends. Today is work with one ARD meeting and homebound for the last time after work.
Prayers for all who need them. Have a great Tuesday.

Good morning all! What a FABULOUS weekend I had!!! Long day planned today. Got up early-went to boot camp-have had to miss it for 3 weeks, due to working nights-amazing how much muscle mass you could lose in 3 weeks, even with "kinda sorta working out on your own, in the off time"...I'm really gonna feel it tomorrow!!...first day at new Hospice job today--"field nurse" not my usual job, so will be a new challenge for me-I've done it, of course, but not as my MAIN job, and having to be the RESPONSIBLE one...then have first appt with personal therapist tonight to discuss/work on my "issues"-a FIRST for me, so have no idea what to expect. I figure I'll just be myself and answer her questions...hope it doesn't make the poor woman quit her job...
Our central air compressor is on the fritz...not good....couldn't get the "24/7/365" repair peeps to even call back yesterday...hope to have better luck today-Richard is in charge of THAT-I have enough on my plate!
Hope everyone has a TERRIFIC TUESDAY, whatver you're doing!!

We Can Do Hard Things
Going to the ear doc this afternoon, I have a bug in my ear! I thought he would work himself out or I could flush him or suck him out, Nope! So I will go let the pros handle it this afternoon. It hurts and I can't hear on that side!
Esophagus is really tight this morning and it's pretty hard to swallow. I managed to get down some homemade tater salad last night. Got in a pouch of tuna this morning, at least there's protein! Just managed to get down the Zegrid, so I hope that helps, it usually seems to. Besides, I go in Thursday morning to discuss treatment options.
We didn't do a lot other than relax this weekend. We needed it too! Got some very much needed rain on Sunday evening! My garden says thanks for that!! I have only been watering every other evening, but each day the plants look so wilted, especially the peppers! I really enjoy working out in the garden and picking the yummy veggies and sharing them with family and neighbors! Have some pickles that Mama canned that are ready today, can't wait to get home and try them!!
Everyone make it a positive day! Keep your chin up and smile really big...makes everyone wonder what you're up to!!
Hugz and prayers for all in need!!

Quick drive by...
Friday morning I went to Kaylee's senior breakfast, ran a bunch or errands, then went to her graduation. Saturday I ran a bunch of other errands, stopped and watched the girls' playday rodeo, then went to Kaylee's graduation party. Sunday we got up extra early and went to the lake. We put the boat in the water and got to use it a bunch. I had a great time! Mom and dad met us later and they got to ride too. We came home yesterday and I pretty well crashed.
Today I have my last two ARDs of the year. I have tons of ARDs to correct so I can turn them in. At this rate I think I'll be working until August.
Hope everyone has a blessed day!
Love you guys!
