Who did your psych eval?

I live near Lewisville, TX.  Does anyone in this area (DFW) have a recommendation for someone to perform my psych eval?

Dr. Litwins with Dr. Lori Golden's office.  214-228-0796

I got a referral from Dr. Barker's office to Lori (even though I didn't end up having surgery there) and apparently Dr. Golden has pretty reduced hours due to having a child recently so Dr. Litwins works for her.

It was a good experience and I would recommend using them.  Also, they were on my insurance plan which the dr. that Dr. Nicholson (my surgeon) recommended was not.  So it worked out.

Here's the address for the office, not necessarily right in our backyard.  But in talking to Dr. Litwins, they really only deal with psych evals for surgery right now so they have it down it's pretty organized!

Hi Neighbor!  Thank you for responding!  I actually live in Flower Mound and teach in Lewisville.  Where in Lewisville to you live?  What a small world!

My surgeon is Dr. Veninga and he recommended Lori Golden.  She's not on my health insurance plan, so I was hoping to find someone who is.  I wonder if I go to her as private pay how much she would charge.....guess I'll have to look into it.   If their office is good, then maybe that is the way to go.

I would def. try to find someone on the insurance, I can't remember how much the charge was, but I remember thinking "Wow, I'm sure glad I found someone on my insurance!" when I saw it.

He also works closely with Jay Ashmore 214-477-9275.  I've seen him at our support group meetings and like him but not sure if he does evals.

We may really be neighbors...although my street is Lewisville, the people behind me in the alley are Flower Mound.  I live on the SW side of Lewsville near 3040 and Old Orchard.  Pretty much "exist" in Flower Mound for shopping and working out at Lifetime Fitness.  How about you?
