WLS Express Sunday

Good morning!  The WLS Express is leaving from Rowlett this morning.  It's riders are Stephanie, Liz, Becky, Lynnette, Que, Karla, Gina, Paige, and Terry T.  We're sitting in the club car drinking coffee or Diet Coke and chit-chatting.  It's a great morning.

Good morning all! I slept like a rock-right next to TERRY ANN, who is still in rock-mode. We had a great day yesterday, and look forward to more of the same today. its so nice to leave 'the world" behind, and just be MYSELF and not worry about what people think.

Good morning Karla (and everyone else in the club car!)  Hope you guys are having a blast!

Yesterday, I wore my little post-op self out!!!   I went shopping because I have my companies big conference next week and the good news was that I needed some new clothes that fit!  I found a few things, but the result was a major energy crash...I guess I must be patient with myself and remember to take it slower.

So, today is going to be pretty relaxing day to replenish the energy I zapped yesterday!

Good morning Train Riders!  I had such a great time yesterday!  Thanks again to Steph for opening her house to a bunch of crazy people.  Of course, crazy in the best way!!  I'm up and ready for church, just waiting to see if Jeff is going to get up and join me.

I talked to Jeff's mom this morning to see how Don is doing.  I think the reality of how much this surgery is going to affect him at least for several months is finally hitting home.  They are having to fight their insurance to get some things covered, and they completely denied a rehab hospital so he'll be going home with some home health care and PT eventually.  I'm hoping that he can bounce back quickly (or relatively quickly anyway) so that he doesn't get too depressed about not being able to do things.

Jeff got the nursery almost completely cleaned out yesterday, so today we'll put together one shelf to see if it's going to work in there and hopefully bring over some of the furniture from his parent's house.  It'll be nice to see the room start coming together. Not sure what we're going to do tomorrow, sleep in for sure, maybe go to a movie.

Good morning everyone.  Went to Scarborough Faire yesterday, free admission and food, hmmm, well food, two bites of sausage, and water was really all I had lol.  Walked around till it got too hot.  Came home, went to store, showered and then my brother from Odessa and his wife got here.  We went out to a local Mexican place, they loved it, we drove around for a bit, then home.  Crashed about 10. 

This morning got up and made breakfast of bacon, eggs, and Fiber One pancakes for the family.  Kitchen all clean, need to buy groceries and laundry, and tomorrow is more company for a small cook out.

On the good news front, I am seeing more of a weight loss.  I have lost 5 pounds in the last week so I am happy with that.  Yesterday I got a bit off track with tracking my food, so today, is a must.
