Busy morning today
So I went to see my PCP this morning, took 4 vials of blood to check things, and also to see if I am insulin resistant due to my pcos. Well then I get done with him and his scale said 284 so I like that muchhhh better. Went to see the Surgeon well the PA. Scale read same thing, so wow, I am happy again. He came in talked to me asking how I was and such, and said you are getting in no more than 1200 calories right? I was like ummm no, more like 800. Sooo he explained the starvation mode to me, which I knew about but wasn't sure with the surgery and all, so I need to be at calorie wise, especially now that I am working out 1100-1200. No more than the 1200 but he said I do that, I should see better results, but he said 3 pounds a week is still a good number.
He is happy, I am happy. Now off to get in protein since fasting just killed my day, and my kitchen, plus a sister in law who is in the ER right now for tummy issues, so not sure what is going on there, and found out my other brother who lives in Odessa, yeah they are on their way to Dallas, and swore they told me. They will be staying with her sister, but will come to visit maybe stay one night, so I have to make sure the guest room is clean enough for them and all that fun stuff and pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee clone me?

Glad that you had a good appointment! I've been wondering about calorie levels/starvation mode too. But, I asked the nutritionist at my surgeons last support group meeting what cals I should be getting in right now and she said there's no "right" number but most people at my stage get about 500-700 calories in then at 6 months about 800 and at a year about 1000. Which then made me worry because I'm getting in 800 now...
I'm still a little torn on this one. I've been trying to keep it around 800...but now I'm getting confused!

I still am, but going to try for maybe 1000, I think he factored in I am hitting the gym pretty good now, so I need a bit more fuel for my body. The trainer at the gym said the same thing. Soo I will try this see how it goes, but hopefully Tuesday will know more if I am insulin resistant as well. Ugh sooo many factors.
