2 weeks out & new blender?

I officially start my high protein/low carb diet in the morning.  I've been really emotional today about all of it--it actually seems real today.  I'm in the middle of moving (stuff is already back in DFW, but as a teacher, I'm finishing my last week of work in Pampa!) and I just realized that I packed my blender!  I'm about to go buy another one so that I can have protein shakes 2x tomorrow.  Any suggestions on a good one?

I will say if you are buying one to crush ice or frozen fruite, we bought the one that makes smoothies.  It seems to really mix everything up and it is at Wal-Mart.
I have started a blog all of my own for this journey.  Please follow me at www.digitalsheep.org.

ABSOLUTELY get a Magic Bullet.  I'm 3 years out and still use mine nearly everyday.  No parts to wash other than the top and you drink right out of the cup you make it in.  Best $$ I've ever spent.

Magic Bullet all the way - You can either get it at Walmart or Kohls pretty easily.  I use mine every day and love it!

Another vote for the magic bullet!  It's become by best friend.

I concur with the others, Amanda.  The Magic Bullet is a blessing for us after WLS.  It makes your shakes much better and with enough ice you can eat it with a spoon like a slushy or ice cream.

I've had mine 5 years and still use it fairly often.

Thank yall!  I got a Magic Bullet and a Kitchen Aide that has a 2 year warranty--my husband was concerned that we have a backup!  He, of course, has never weighed more than 190 (at 5'10) and cannot fathom living on liquids!
