Another tempting weekend off our routine is upon us.  Make good choices!

My plan for today:
lots of liquids...at least 100 oz.
protein coffee
chef salad for lunch
roast and veggies for dinner

I agree, weekends are tough.  Plan for today is, of course the same thing as every day this week. 

eggs
sandwich thin 1/2 with ham cheese, turkey, tomato and pickle
carrots
broccoli slaw

tonight is supposed to be dinner out.  it's a bbq place to I can behave if I don't go for 2 or 3 beers.

scale showed lowest in a long long time. At least massive stress has a bit of a benefit.

S: 100 cal rs bar
D: fish and half baked sweet potato

This week has been totally messed up. I haven't been on TMB even to read it. (Tells you how weird it's been). I have eaten OK and when I noticed a 10lb. gain at the middle of the week I freaked so I haven't eaten much since. I'm hoping it's water weight since I haven't been home as much to keep the lymphedema at bay with the leg wrapping. I so hope that I couldn't have gained 10lbs. in a week without completly being off diet which I haven't been. So back to it today!

B. 2 oz. hard parmesean 8g. Protein
S. Sm bag Beef Jerky 12g. Protein
L. Lunch meat and cheese
S. Sm bag Beef Jerky 12g. Protein
D. Grilled Vegetables
S. Multigrain Cereal w/ Protein Powder 36g. Protein

Hey CHRIS-just a thought-while beef jerky is an EXCELLENT protein choice, it does have TONS of sodium, so people who have problems with fluid imbalance (like with lymphedema) might have have extra "water weight" from it. I do not have LD, but, when I eat jerky I REALLY have to up my water, or will absolutely reatin some water weight the next day.

BUT..saying "I freaked out and haven't eaten much since"..You BETTER be lying..I'm shaking my mama finger here..You KNOW you GOTTA eat--NO STARVING ALLOWED. I guarantee-your body weill rebel and you will NOT NOT NOT NOT lose weight...

Okay...lecture over...bet you can hardly wait to see me tomorrow!!!

Good morning! No work last night-slept 14 HARD hours..feel like I have a hangover...but can have a good food day, being home today:

B: have had coffee-working on cold Click now-mixed with 1/2 coffee, 1/2 mlk and a shot of SF caramel syrup..shaken, not stirred

L: Stuffed chicken breast and some broccoli that is now too old to eat raw, so I'm gonna have to coo it

S: Celery with hummus

D: Not sure-thinking of taking what's his name on a date-will include meat and salad-haven't had fresh veggies all week and am missing them

Weighed this morning--first time in awhile...it's all good. Friday is my designated "no exercise" day, but need to clean houes, so may have to burn some calories, despite my best intentions!

I haven't journaled food most of the week. It's so easy to get out of the habit! It started because I couldn't find a food and didn't have time at the moment to look everything up and enter it and it went downhill from there! Good thing is I'm eating on plan, haven't gone nuts or anything. Well...nuts is the operative word so I have exceeded limits there....I can't stay out of the almonds! I found the Buttered Toffee almonds at the store...OMG! And even worse is the last couple of nights I've taken a handful to bed to munch while I read! So todays goal is to get that under control.

Another food chore today is to clean out the 'fridge. In my efforts to change up our menu I made too much food, thinking Beast would take some of it to work for lunches. Well, he's afraid to eat too much of 'my food' so he's left it. Now I've got chicken salad, sliced ham rollups, SW chicken and pintos that are all past and need to be thrown out! So much for saving money by fixing his lunches! But Bless him...he's thinking of me first, as he's always done. Guess it's hard to break a 40+yr old habit!

Pre-B...chai tea
B....cottage cheese w/ cherry SF syrup
L....grilled chicken, fresh asparagus
D....shrimp something
LNS...Fage cheesecake yogurt

That's the PLAN...let's see how it end up!

 I am back motivated and have lost 2 1/2 lbs.   now the hard part....keeping it off !!!  LOL  I have done well today so far and plan on doing well the rest of the weekend.    Have a blessed weekend!!!!
