Good Morning Train!

WOOOOOHOOO for Thursday!  As for the theatrical part, I don't remember many if any school plays or such when I was in elementary school, but I was in Drama class for 2 yrs before I decided it wasn't my cup of tea....

Prayers are going up for all that need them!

Flashback/sing along time!  *****members this one?  It's Lobo's  Me And You And A Dog Named Boo!

I remember to this day
The bright red Georgia clay
And how it stuck to the tires
After the summer rain
Will power made that old car go
A woman's mind told me that so
Oh how I wish
We were back on the road again

Me and you and a dog named boo
Travellin' and livin' off the land
Me and you and a dog named boo
How I love being a free man

I can still recall
The wheat fields of St. Paul
And the morning we got caught
Robbing from an old hen
Old McDonald he made us work
But then he paid us for what it was worth
Another tank of gas
And back on the road again

I'll never forget the day
We motored stately into big L.A.
The lights of the city put settlin'
Down in my brain
Though it's only been a month or so
That old car's buggin' us to go
We've gotta get away and get back on
The road again

Ya'll have a great day my friends!

Hi Karen,

I never did drama in HS but 2 of my 3 sons were big into drama and my youngest particularly loved being in the school musicals.    Not sure what I am going to do today.   I need to get out of my pitty party for sure.   LOL   I am about to head to NE Mall to walk.    Prayers for a lady you joined my support group who has her WLS today.   Can't remember her name off the top of my head but if you think about her...please say a prayer for her....God knows who she is.    Prayers for everyone in need.   Have a blessed day !!!

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Good morning! I was sitting here trying to come up with a catchy name for today's train and I saw yours pop up. So problem solved!
Theatrical eh? I was in theater in high school and loved it. I was more of a back scenes person-loved to do the sets and make sure everyone was where they were supposed to be.
Today I am presenting about our agency at a meeting. Then this afternoon I'm taking Chris over to his new school next year so he can meet everyone, look around, etc. Then its a rush over to PT. It will be a long day. Gee, there isn't Survivor to watch tonight-what will I do? lol.

I hope everyone has a great day today!!

Good morning.  I was in a couple of children's theater plays in hs, but nothing significant.

Lots of things to keep me busy for the next few days!  I have "field trip" in Huntsville to go see a new computer program at a school there with some of my coworkers.  I will teach my homebound student after that.

Prayers for Deanne and all others who need them.

Have a great Thursday!

Karla

Most of my theatrical experience is from the orchestra pit.  Yep, that was me playing oboe and clarinet...  In college I did costumes for the anual play once.  "Some Like it Hot".  Try fitting a guy for gals clothes, it was a challenge..

Headed back to work after cataract surgery on Tuesday.  Went to doc yesterday and got bad news.  They did not get all of the cataract.  It may clear on its own, but next week they will decide if they have to redo the surgery.  Still seeing neon colors and it is still a bit out of focus, but I am much better than yesterday.  Light does still hurt.

Hopefully Tom will be headed to the shop today to put together something we can sell.  His web site is almost ready to release to the internet, Chris turned it in for a grade.  Looks pretty good.  I am impressed.

Everybody have a great day!

A day late and a dollar short but.....

My mother put me in theater classes when I was in 2nd grade back in Amarillo. It was her goal to give me presence when up on a stage or shen speaking. I then was in Orchestras and Bands throughout grade school and half of college.
