I just spoke to my cousin - everyone is safe and sound. My cousin says that everything is in a dis-array.......Imagine that............ I don't think that there was a tornado..all mobile homes are still upright..........but I definately know from the sounds of things - that is was a major hail and wind event.... My aunt doesn't have insurance on the trailer - (OLD trailer) lots of landscaping issues......things toppled over.........leaves and limbs everywhere - windows knocked out.....etc. The family in OKC will try to get over there this evening and see if she has any hail damage that can be repaired on your "tin" roof.
I went out tonight on a spur-of the moment date tonight.........was blind............went great........
anyway: I got a call during my date (didn't feel it in my manners to answer it during the date time) - but it was my cousin...........I should have known that she would be call for a reason and I would miss it.....................she left a voice mail message................ this was at about 640pm..I just got the message after 1015pm when I got home..........
"Hey Phyllis - thought I would call and give you an update on the recent storms that we had come through the city" First off - I didn't know they were getting storms today....I haven't been at the computer or news since about 5pm !! lol "mom's trailer park - her mom - my aunt.... got hit hard " please call me tonight when you get this no matter what time it is.........
I don't know anything other than that right now....I've been trying....she is either asleep or they are at the park getting my aunt situated...........I've left a message and tried to call 3 other times...no answer. I"m hoping that they have gone to sleep.............. With that in mind - my aunt is 75 I thin**** has gotten hit hard with MAJOR hail storm from what I can see on KWTV9news.com today between 3- 6ish...........that would be the reason she called me at about 630ish..... MAJOR GOLF BALL AND TENNIS BALL DAMAGE. Has destroyed cars............they look totalled out..............OMG I haven't ever seen hail that big...looked like a snow storm in the yards.....

Oh WOW.....I guess I need to call my Aunt in the AM and check on her too. She lives in a mobile home in OKC also. Gee.....I haven't listened to the news all day long today. Had to go pick 24 yr old son from his job and take him home tonight right about the time the 10 PM news came home. Glad the date went well. Thanks for the OKC information. Prayers going out for everyone there that was affected.
