Good evening all.  Rough weekend.  I worked ten hours of overtime ( two, five hour shifts).  In between we drove to Abilene for a wedding.  Sleep was not a priority, but I did get some.  Just now woke up from a 90 minute nap.

Geraldine is home.  Still in pain, but home.

Just a reminder, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  AND SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Gina L. - Requests prayer for Baby JJ (her great-nephew).   He is undergoing a 2nd surgery Monday morning (5/17) to remove the other brain tumor. The tumor increased by 33% after 6 rounds of chemo. His full name is Jason Kyle Barberee, Jr.  This is the same baby that lost his 18 year old Mom in January

Jennifer - prayer for the sale of their house in San Antonio.  They are in the process of changing real estate agents, hopefully this will help the house move.

Karen the Papaya Queen asks we pray for her son and his kids.  Parental rights to the children were lost.  He may get custody of the girl, which would open the door to  him getting the boys.  The decision is under appeal.

Kat (Iwannabethinnow) requests prayer for her friend with breast cancer.

Kris M. asks for prayer for Charlene and her family during this difficult time.

MariPW also asks for prayer for her pending move back to Texas in May.

Nina - Pray for cousin, that he be guided in the right direction with his marraige.

Tennysonkw (Kim T.) asks for prayers for Carrie (ccagle). She has a brain tumor that they are going to have to remove.  She is also having blurred vision.  They are running tests, but think that it is due to vitamin deficiency.  The day that she found out about the brain tumor, her husband lost his jobs

Vivian - Niece, Tressa is a severe diabetic.  Now has kidney failure also.   Another niece, Kim, is trying to decide which WLS to have.    She needs prayers also that she will make the right decision for herself that she will loose the much needed weight so she will be free from her diabetes ( doesn't run in her family ).

Sheesh....where is everyone???

Busy weekend as usual.  It was a frustrating one though.  Went to a friend of Paul's on Sat. night. as he graduated from Rice with his MBA.  Sarah wanted to come (we were all invited) but the two older girls didn't want to as they had a feeling there wouldn't be anyone there for them to talk to (they were right!)  LOTS of drinking so literally within like five minutes that I got there, I was ready to go.  Sorry, just not my thing, nor is it something I want any of my kids to be around.  Sarah went swimming so she wasn't privi to a lot of what I saw...adults doing shots, chugging contests, etc.  I swear, I felt like I was at a college party!  It started to get out of hand when the "adults" (I use that term quite loosely) started dancing on the tables.  Had to drag Paul out.  Sarah was inside by then and saw it all.  She was SO upset by it as she is a "rule follower".  She knows no one should be standing on a table, especially an adult, so it bothered her.  I just took her out of there and told Paul that if was coming home with us, he'd better have his a$$ in the car in less than five minutes!  Sarah was completely disgusted by what she saw and spared no expense in telling her dad alllll about it this morning.  I just let him try to weasel his way out of that one and he definitely struggled!!!  I told him that will be the LAST time I go there.  Unfortunately with his friend living an hour away, I couldn't just leave and go home, then go back to scrape him up off the concrete.  One VERY stupid chick got totally in my face calling me a chicken for not drinking.  She was drunk and I wasn't so I wasn't going to waste my breath arguing with her but proceeded to thoroughly **** her off by me NOT giving in.  HA!  Bring it on sister!!!  So after I got home, saw V had decided to clear off the table.  Well, her way of cleaning something is to just throw it away.  She is SOOO like her father...if it isn't his, they don't care.  I started going through the trash when I happened to see she had just thrown away a LEGAL document Paul had left on the table for me to sign.  I was absolutely LIVID.  Sooo, at 1:00 AM, had to go through the freakin' trash piece by piece.  Needless to say, I was NOT very talkative to a couple people in my family today!

Sports banquet is tonight (Mon. night).  It will probably be quite emotional....  NOT looking forward to that...

Ok, gotta go make sure Schnitzel is snoozin' and not into something he's not supposed to be.  Usually by now he's in the "wind down" mode....

Good for you for following the rules.  That's what makes WLS work, following the rules.

I imagine the banquet will be tough for the girls.  Wonder how much mention of the coach there will be.
