Since you have done that kind of work.....I think N. Hills Hospital's insurance covers WLS. At least I know there are lots of nurses there that has had WLS. You might want to give them a call and inquire about it anyway. Haven't seen or heard from you in quite sometime. Hope everything works out for you and you find a job that will cover it so you can finally have your surgery.

Yes, long time no see. I've had some major set backs health wise, but I told you, I won't give up!!! : ) anyway, I've been able to get some health issues taken care of and I'm back in the search game lol whew, finally!! Thanks for the info, I'll be sure to check it out.

Judy I've been a nurse for Tenet for over 20 years (Lake Pointe in Rowlett) and I know there is no way around HR at my facility. If you call my boss directly-she tells you that you have to apply online. I know it's become so impersonal to get a job these days. Hang in there and I hope you find something soon. Tenet's insurance paid for 2 WLS's for me. First I had a lapband and then a revision to a bypass. I spent about $200-300 out of pocket for each one.
