WTH SUNDAY - ME RUNNING THE TRAIN ? SUNDAY EXPRESS
Good morning Becky! Hope you had a great Saturday, even with working part of the day. I had a great one hanging with Paige. She was probably glad to get rid of me. Her support group was helpful and informational as usual and I got to meet Laura and Helen in person and Sarah (Laura's daughter...such a cutie)!
This morning I will go to early church and SS then a quick run to Walmart for a few groceries. At 2:00, Ben and I will go to the HS gym to help decorate for the Casino themed prom that is next Saturday.
Ben will help on the big lift machines to help hang stuff from the top of the gym. The teachers doing the work need help. We need to run my MIL her Mother's day and birthday gifts because she was out of town last weekend.
Prayers for all who need them.
Meggie...hope Belatrix goes away. Michelle, hope your mom is still doing better. Prayers for Sharyn on the loss of her mother. Prayers for John and Sherry and family too.
Have a great Sunday.

Having Mexican food for lurch and then off to see Iron Man 2 this afternoon.
I am ready for this wet weather to move on out. The grass and trees needed the rain but it can stop now LOL. I hope my garden at work dries out and my vegetables are ok.
Last night Daniel's choir put on their end-of-season Pop Show where the best singers sing solos along with a few group songs. The theme was Broadway Musicals and it was fantastic - Friendswood has some talented kids! Not my kid - he enjoys it but will never do a solo but that is ok - good group for him to hang out with :-)
Today is a hamster day....we're gonna be so busy we'll be like hamsters in a wheel! Yeah, I know...late start but I sewed until past 3am andGertie needs her sleep. Need to buy groceries so we're going across town to the HUGE HEB store, I swear that thing is more like a tourist destination! We also need to shop for a new microwave, ours finally gave up the ghost at 28 yrs old! At least now they don't cost $500+!
Busy...busy....gotta go....
Last year I put in a micro-sprinkler system and planted tomatoes and okra on about 1/3 of it. Nobody else was interested so this year I expanded the sprinkler system and planted ALL of it. I have tomatoes, peppers, pickling cucumbers, green beans, cow peas, carrots, radishes, melons, corn and okra.
Everything was started from seeds, either direct-sewn or in jiffy pots indoors under grow lights. I had to re-start my pepper plants after one of the cats decided they liked them.
It needs weeding badly but I haven't been able to get over there and do it. Right now I am picking green beans and pulling a couple of weeds every time I walk by it.
We have too many large trees and not enough full sun at home to have a garden so this is great for me. The only spot we have full sun we put in a small pond to water the bees.
