Now the waiting begins......

Well, my packet has been sent in to the insurance company. So, now all I have left to do is wait.........    I also get to wait for EGD biopsy results....

I didnt even know I had a problem with my stomach! Isnt it amazing how things are discovered when you start into all the testing. Stomach was enflamed, vit levels were off from blood test.... makes you start to wonder about quality of care. (How long has this been going on?)

Good luck on your approval.  Try not to stess about the biopsy it could be something very minimal and nothing to worry about.  What vitamin levels were off?  What surgery are you trying to have?  Be sure you get your vitamins in order before you go with a malabsorptive surgery.

I would like to have the sleeve but BCBS hasnt been approving it, not enough data or research. So, RNY is my next choice.

I am starting a B12 sub, multivitamin, calcium and once a week Vit D. My D 25-Hydroxy was in the single digits. Vit E and Calcium were borderline. I am very careful with my iron, I know that has been a problem in the past. It is staying in the normal range.
