OAC's List of Obesity-Related Support Groups and Govt. Resources in TX

This is from the Obesity Action Coaltion's national locator service listing for the State of Texas.  It contains over two dozen local groups relating to obesity issues, as well as several governmental resources for same in our State (the publication, A Patient’s Guide to Advocating for Improved Access to Weight-Loss Surgery in Texas, is interesting reading!)

 Please note that you can also submit your obesity-related group to the list by following the directions.   Although there are many doc's and hospital's WLS support groups on there, I don't see any listed that appear to be one of our OH-related support groups (hint hint).   

Dang there is hardly any listed for DFW and not one for Fort Worth. Yikes!

WE know where we are and how to find US...that's all that really matters

I don't know about that. I tend to lose myself at least twice a day. Then it takes at least 30 minutes to figure out where I am. Oh well I'm sure I'm the only one that misplaces myself daily.

CHRIS-I once saw a bumpr sticker that said "Wherever you go, there go are"...don't know WHY that stuck with me..but it's TRUE..so hard to run away FROM ourselves!!

Well, that's true Gina ..  But I'm sure there are also a lot of  "non-OH" folks out there, WLSers and prospects, that are looking for local WLS support groups for guidance and support ...  Why not reach out to them as well?  

 So c'mon ..   VP ..  Sean-of-the-Living ...  Debra ...  Our hottie in Cypress (sorry, I keep forgetting your name  )  and all the rest of you TX OH group leaders ..  List 'em, please!
