I want a change!
Dee,
I've worn my hair spikey for years... and short.... I love it. Started when I had my convertible and didn't want 'wind' issues.
It will look great!!! And as long as you have 'product' as the professionals say, go for it. I put a washrag on my hair in the mornings and a 2-minute blow-dry... and wa**** every other day.
And the only difference between a good and a bad haircut is three weeks!!
Enjoy that new 'do'!!

Dee...for years I wanted short hair. My husband does not like short hair, and my daughters were absolutely against it. But menopause came along, and I just could not deal with anything touching my neck. I had really, really strong and numerous hot flashes. Anyway, i finally cut it because I knew I could not get it out of mind head that i really wanted short hair. It was the best decision i made.
I did it at my heaviest weight, and it helped. Once I started losing weight, it took years off my face. I realized I needed the height short hair provides. My hairdresser cuts it really short, and I always leave with it spiked on top. I am not quite brave enough yet to wear it spikey, but as I lose more weight I would like to. I think you will find it very easy to care for. I have a 3 minute hair style. If you don't like it, remember it will grow. I have lost quite a bit of hair, and I have a feeling when I go in a couple weeks to get it cut, my stylist will cut is even shorter. I can't wait to see the new style.

Thanks for the encouragement! I've never been really hung up on hair, I've always thought the same way...it'll grow back! I've noticed just the last few days that I all kinds of new hair coming in so I'm hoping my hair loss is over. If so, it really wasn't as bad as I expected.
I have an appointment today to get it cut, I'm really looking forward to this! With the dive trip coming up, being in and out of the water all day, I want something I can towel dry and comb with my fingers. Beast just said he hoped I didn't come home with a Marine high and tight 'do'! LOL! I'll post pics so ya'll can see what all your encouragement produced!
