I want a change!
I've had this length for years, or variations of it, but I'm tired of it. I think I want a really short haircut but I can't visualize what it will look like! To me my face still looks like a bowling ball! haha! With the hair thinning, although it hasn't been really bad, plus the diving every weekend, short and spikey would be so easy to care for and may help hide the thinning top and sides.
So I'm asking you guys....is my face too fat for one of those 'pixie' cuts? You know...over the ears, neckline, maybe 2" long on top?

First...your face is not fat and round! Second, I think it would look cute. Ask your hairstylist though because they're trained to know if it would work for your hair type and face shape.

LOL....I asked him what he thought when he cut it a couple weeks ago. He's been doing my hair since we were kids so knows me very well. He refused to cut it that short saying he didn't want to be in the line of fire if I didn't like it! The hairdresser next to him is the one who gave me the idea for the pixie.

Your face is not fat!!!! Dee, I think it would look cute and from experience, you would love it. I can blow dry my hair in less than 2 minutes! So easy! I must admit it was a little shorter than I wanted this time, but I love it now! I was used to flipping the back up in kind of a chicken butt style, but too short for that now! She had to shave my neck this time!

haha.. in my mirror I can tell it's not round and fat anymore but my brain still says it is! Poor Paul, I can't blame him for refusing to cut it short. I've had a standing rule...no cuts over my ears and if you need to use the shaver, you screwed it up and got it too short! LOL! Bless his heart. I think I'm gonna go for it. I want something that does NOT require a blow drier, I can just 'fluff' it with my hands and go....a dive trip cut!

Dee....as a hairstylist point of view....I say GO for it !!!! Tell your hairstylist that you are now becoming a new person with your thinner body and want a new younger looking style. Tell him what you told us that you want wash and wear hair. You will love it !!! Get you some Aussie "instant freeze" spray and use it. It isn't sticky in humidity and I know how humid Houston is. You can blow dry your hair...spray and run your fingers through your hair to style it. It holds and I have used it for years and love that stuff. Good luck and be sure to post a photo after it is done. BTY....you don't have a fat face !!!! We look at ourselves through "FAT EYES !!!" LOL

Tell your hairdresser that you won't hold him responsible, after all it will grow back if you don't like it. Be adamant about no clippers. It's YOUR HAIR!!!

Dee, check out this site http://www.taaz.com/ you can try different haircuts and colors on a picture of you. You can even make yourself up with different makeup colors.
