The NIGH****CHMAN 4/29 - Thursday

Good afternoon all.  Got up a little early so I could watch the Rangers game with my breakfast.

Got home from work this morning and my dogs were in the front yard waiting for me.  That is not supposed to happen since I have a fenced in back yard.  Found where my fence had separated (vinyl fence).  Joey fixed it for me today, putting a bracket up to make sure it stays closed.  There was a time when Mack would have taken off, but I think he knows where his bread is buttered now.  And Pride, even though he is a greyhound, never has been one to run off.  I guess he loves us too.

Tonight is Survivor night.  So ready for Russell to go.  Please.

Not much else.

Just a reminder, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  AND SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Not a good day at the part time job.  Hopefully it will get better here, at the full time gig.

First, I fired a gal.  Should have been fired long ago, but my boss kept going back and forth on it.  Finally he told me to pull the plug.  She has been working 3 days a week, just so she can still get unemployment.  So, I call her, to save her a trip in.  She rides a bicycle about 6 miles to work, so I thought I was doing her a favor.  I tell her it ain't working out.  She says "You can't fire me, my unemployment has run out."  I told her it has nothing to do with her unemployment, it has to do with her production.  Which sucks.  Then she texts me on my cell phone.  "You picked a great day to fire me.  It is the anniversary of my dad's death."  Again, I am sorry, but one has nothing to do with the other.

On top of that, today was the viewing for Bob.

Then, one of the gals that has been there about 16 years, off and on, (She has quit about 10 or 12 times) gets up and walks out.  Says she needs some time.  I said fine.  She said she needs to cut down to three days a week.  I said fine.  I asked when is she coming back.  She says she doesn't know, may two or three weeks.  So I tell her to call the boss when she wants to come back and see if he will take her.

It ends up she had gotten into a "discussion" with another worker.  The other worker said hi and she ignored her.  Twice.  Instead of letting it be, the other worker says fine, see if I ever talk to you again.  Then goes into another room and says she will never talk to that fat b.... again, making sure she was heard.

I am a glorified babysitter.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
