Taco Tuesday WLS Epxress

Good morning. Its Tuesday- maybe even taco Tuesday? You can get them cheaply at Rosa's every Tuesday. We won 3 tacos at Taco Bueno at the Ranger's game so maybe that's what Bryan will have today for lunch. <br />

Of all the days to not sleep well, ugh. I have a conference today-Thursday in north Dallas for all the VR Counselors in the state. We're all staying at the hotel which is cool because I'm not stressed out commuting. And since I had horrible dreams all last night, I am so glad I won't have to drive this afternoon. I might need a nap before supper even! I wasn't like Liz- I did sleep, I just kept waking with either weird or downright scary dreams. Then I'd go back to sleep and do the same thing. It was very frustrating! I wonder what I ate to cause that. lol.

Tacos- I don't eat them very often. If I do, its always homemade, which has always been the case even prior to surgery. We only buy 93 percent lean or better meat and I get white wheat soft tacos now. Or I'll eat it out of a bowl and skip the tortilla. Bryan teased me last night because he said we might have tacos but ended up with ham steak, so maybe that's why tacos are on the brain! Maybe I'll get Mexican food tonight!

I am learning alot more the next few days about self-employment for my consumers. Its always been one of my specialities but I can always learn more. Hey- it might lead me to open my own business one day!

WOOOOHOOOO for Taco Tuesday!  Dang it now I'm hungry, LOL  I eat tacos but usually just chicken and cheese on a wheat tortilla and usually I eat one whole one and then just the innards of another... LOL

Good morning all!  Yesterday was pretty good around here.  Maintenance worked on our AC most of the day and did finally get it fixed.  Glad we figured out it wasn't working before it gets really hot.  I'm definitely impressed with the guys that work here.  They even fixed a toilet that I hadn't mentioned just because they heard it running a lot.  Jeff moved some stuff over to our storage unit, so that opened up room for me to get stuff out of his car this morning.  Eventually we'll get everything put in it's place here.

Four more days till I get to see my parents!  Woohooo!  We're meeting them down at Canyon Lake near New Braunfels at a villa they are staying at with some friends.  Jeff will have to work on his project some while we are there, but it's definitely going to be a fun weekend.  Today I've got a few meetings at work, a report to finish up, and then I'm going to do the walk through at the old apartment and take Nigel to the vet.  I'm pretty sure he's got tapeworms so we need to get some meds for him and see if we need to preventatively treat Leo.

Tuesdays are my offical weigh-in day...lost another 2lbs! I know that seems slow compared to some folks but it's been consistant every week so I'll take it! My food tracker told me this morning that at this rate it'll take me 7 months to hit my goal. Sounds like forever but I know it's not. And so what? This isn't a race! I don't even know if my original goal of 150lb is realistic. Even if I ever do get there it might be too hard to maintain it. So my feelings right now are if I get there fine, if not that's OK, too! But I'm still going to work at it!

I love tacos! I haven't had crispy tacos in quite a while and I don't really know why. I think in my brain the crispy shells = fried but are they? I usually buy the high fiber soft wheat tortilla abd crisp them in the oven. We have tostada's instead of tacos!  Mmm....maybe we'll have Mexican tonight!
