Good afternoon all.  Seems pretty nice out there.  I am a little warm in the house.  Got to turn the fans on.

Going to the Ballpark this weekend.  All three days.  Rangers vs Tigers.

Not much else.

Just a reminder, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  AND SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Other prayer requests:

George - My employee and friend Bob has been in the hospital now for over two months.  He has MS and cancer.  The doctors are deciding today if they should continue with chemotherapy because it appears to be doing more harm than good.

Jennifer - prayer for the sale of their house in San Antonio.  They have made the move to the metroplex but still need to sell their house.

Karen the Papaya Queen asks we pray for her son and his kids.  Parental rights to the children were lost.  He may get custody of the girl, which would open the door to  him getting the boys.  The decision is under appeal.

Kat (Iwannabethinnow) requests prayer for her friend with breast cancer.

Kris M. asks for prayer for Charlene and her family during this difficult time.

MariPW also asks for prayer for her pending move back to Texas in May.

Michelle S. - Michelle's mother has been diagnosed with cancer, is getting radiation and will soon be making a decision about chemotherapy.  Also continue praying for her family's various other health issues.

Nina - Pray for cousin, that he be guided in the right direction with his marraige.

 Guys,

Prayers please for our firm's office manager/paralegal Lynette.

She collapsed yesterday and hit her head hard at our offices.   She was doing just fine all day and then suddenly < CLUNK > - she fell face-first into a wall and then onto some trash cans - while she was walking back to her desk, w/o warning.     We got her revived and back into a chair and called 911.  She said she just suddenly felt very dizzy and that was the last thing she remembered.  The EMTs checked her out and took her in the ambulance.   No idea why she blacked out, and all her tests were negative as of last night.

  Thanks ..

Hey big bro....
Been baking all day.  House smells good.  Glad it doesn't turn on the "hunger button" for me!

Did hear some crappy news though today...one of Heather's friends has a brother who has been sick.  I actually brought this girl home the other night as her mom was at the hospital with the brother and wasn't able to come get her after the teacher talent show.  So today the girl called Heather and said they got the results of his tests and the boy is in stage four of some kind of cancer and he has only three weeks to live if they don't intervene, or maybe 3-6 months if he goes through chemo.  The girl's brother is only like 7 years old.  Wow....that's like Sarah's age.  Just broke my heart.  The brother told the mom, "I want to do the chemo because I want to be alive to watch my sister get her diploma in June".  I think it took me an hour to dry the tears.  Unbelievable.  That is one brave kiddo.  The sister told him not to do it just for her because of course they know the chemo will make him feel awful.  No good solution regardless of which route they take.  I told the girls today to go outside, take a deep breath of air and thank God for their health.  So sad....

Well, I'd better scoot.  Typing in between batches of cupcakes!

Hi George;

Sorry I didn't get to actually see you at the ball park today. It was a good day to be outside though. A little chilly when we were sitting in the shade, but nice.

Last weekend, we were in San Antonio interviewing new Realtors. We've found one and need to finalize the paperwork this week as our current contract is expiring this coming Friday. We also had time to visit with friends who live in Denver that were in SAT for a conference. We hadn't seen them in over 2 years and it was wonderful to catch up and hang out.

This weekend was a total Detroit-fest. Friday night, we went to Rick & Nicole's for the Red Wings game. Yesterday, we spent the morning running errands. Late afternoon, we went to Rick & Nicole's for dinner and then headed out to a country bar in Sacshe with the group of ex-Detroiters that Rick & Nicole hang out with. We were out until 3:30 this morning and had a great time. Today, we all went to the Tigers/Rangers game together and had a great time. We brought foods that you can't buy in TX, but we've brought back on all of our recent visits home. It was fun.

Speaking of the ball park, we really would love to see the Cubs play. Let me know if you're doing group tickets for that series and I'll send you a check.

Work isn't exactly what I was told it would be, so I've been looking strategically for a new position. I had an interview last week and am waiting to hear back on the second interview. Hopefully it will work out that I have something new before things really start falling apart.

I hope you're well. Have a great night. Prayers for all who need them.
Blessings, Jennifer

We were on the second level.  Getting from the second level to the third quickly is impossible.  The quickest way is to go down the stairs, then up the escalators.  That is why we stayed where we were.  Plus, I keep score of every batter of every game I go to.  Would have missed a half an inning.  LOL.

May 23rd is the next group outing.  I call it a group outing because I get group tickets.  I get them for anyone from either of the two discussion boards I frequent most, plus my work.  It is against the Cubs.  It is 1:05 on a Sunday afternoon.

Just let me know how many seats you want, and send me the money ASAP, as I will be ordering the tickets this Friday (April 30th).
