thankful thursday WLS express

For sure we're still looking for a good car seat, I'm hoping to get one that will work from rear facing through booster seat, and in the perfect world we'd have two - one for each car.  Also, a swing of some sort, baby gates, a glider or recliner/rocker, diaper bag, baby monitor, carriers (slings, wraps, etc) and eventually small stuff like toys, etc.  We don't have a huge room for the nursery and I don't want to get a lot of stuff we won't use but I figure used is the best way to go on nearly everything.  Since we're doing the nursery in a Dr Seuss theme I'm hoping to find some stuff to decorate too.

Unlike some of you... I am not a morning person.  Even though I am physically at work by 7:30am, I am not her mentally until AT LEAST 8:30. 

I am so thankful for you guys.  I know the TMB is not like it used to be, but there are still supportive people here.

I am looking forward to it... The weekend is ALMOST here, and I am SO ready.  It has been a long week.

I'm thankful for my loving family that Chris and I have created and for the family we've chosen.  I feel blessed every day.  I'm soooo thankful for my surgery that allows me to do things I never would have wanted to before...running for instance...without being chased.  I suck at it but I'm still trying.(for those of you who run, why do I feel like I'm pre-op sized when I run.  I feel like a clumsy clod EVERY TIME and it's a little discouraging).
I'm thankful that our friends Allison and Jason invited us to church with them and we've found a place for misfits that we fit in at.  North Point church in Lewisville is a great place if you're feeling out of place or lost.

I'm thankful that in these times I still can find things to be thankful for.

I don't know why that is either...but I have logged hundreds of miles and EVERYTIME i still feel like I am packing around that extra 140lbs. Maybe it's the skin issues?? Maybe its just that I truly HATE running...lol

I need to finish my report cards that are due today...only about 30 more to go ...yipee!
My heart is heavy for Charlene today. Her mom is her best friend and I know that she will be missed.
Nothing new in my life for the moment. The chicken coop is still au natural..alla "wood" color. 
Bailey passed BOTH of her TAKs tests. Her dad promised her a rabbit if she passed so it looks like we will be building a rabbit hut in our very near future. Maybe they/it can be neighbors with the chickens. We can have our own little community.

Oops...I almost missed the train today! I am SO thanksful for so much today. I know I haven't met many of you, most just a brief hello in Dallas at the OH thng last year but I still feel a part of this family. I hope ya'll know how much you've taught and supported me so far...and still do!

As always I'm thankful for Beast, aka Doug the Husband. He's been my rock for 42 years and this surgery hasn't changed anything other than to make our bond even stronger. I am so blessed!

I've got to get busy and get off this box! I've do rag orders out the wazoo waiting for me today but I can't complain for the business! It's a little harder to sew while trying to get used to these contacts but it's getting better every day. I still think I look funny! LOL!
