Vitamin D Sale

Walgreens has the Vitamin D 1000 on sale.  The bottle has 120 rapid release capsules (20% more than usual).  $5 and after you pay, you get a $5 store credit.  So your vitamin D is FREE.  Mary and I will be hitting up a few Walgreens tomorrow when we are out and about.

Is rapid release the same as extended release?   Dr Matin told me to stay away from all Extended release stuff....

I believe extended release is time release, meaning, I think, that we would get rid of it before all of it's effectiveness.  Rapid release means it gives it all right away, so it is good.

  btw, I was in our local Kroger's store tonight, shopping for Melatonin supps.   I take them to get help me get to sleep naturally at night.

  I was expecting to pay the usual $13 or so for a small bottle of them by Nature's Own, but was stunned to see that NO apparently has a new in-store competitor, called "Sundown".   They had a sale on 2-for-1 in that brand for only $4.10 a bottle ..      I couldn't believe it ..   What is even odder, the Sundown brand pills were 100 x the strength of the NO brand, being 300 mgs. per pill vs. 3 mgs.   The # per bottle was about the same between the two brands.

  I asked the clerk to double-check that they had not mismarked the bottles or something, but he confirmed the price was indeed 2 for 1 @ $4.10.    YEEHAWWWW!
