Cruise Update-April

Walgreens, CVS, Walmart and the Post Office but the other 3 are cheaper than the PO.

I have GOT to find the time to do this. Maybe I can leave work Monday morning and try. It's insane that in a town as big as Houston that you have to go to the post office - you can only go to the passport office if you need yours in a hurry.

I got mine going TODAY as a matter of fact............

Ran to Walgreens - got my 2 pics..............$7.99...............less than 30 min...............

PO in IRving does them..........on sat am....9-3pm...They hand out somthing like 20 numbers..........would be my luck - I get there at 940...........and the line is quite long.....she started passing out numbers about 950 or so...................If you needed 4 passports........that was 4 numers...............anyway.......she got to me and YES  YOU GUESSED IT !!   I WAS # 21.............
there was one other family behind me that got there shortly afterwards that needed 3...........so the lady went inside and got 4 more numbers and announced that they were the last family that she would take for the day.....people left, exchanged numbers, passed their numbers on tot new people that came in after 11, etc......(she passed out # 10-33)   I had actual number 30..........when the time came  -  I actually ended up with # 28.............all and all -  I walked out with a VERY FULL BLADDER   at    1pm !!!       I guess from talking to the lady -   (now mind you -  I was in the passport room for less than 10 min) I MUST HAVE BEEN THE ONLY ONE THAT  had everything completely filled out correctly....pics in hand and copies of the drivers license.................and ...............well -     I got the   PASSCARD since I probably will NOT travel by air across seas......................I   PAID  $46.10 for the PASSCARD and   $7.99 for the pics................soooooooooooooooooooo   Now I"m just waiting....................but that is  one task I have completed...............
