Cruise Update-April

Just a quick reminder for those going on the cruise.  If you haven't already ordered your passports, you need to get it done.  The summer rush will start soon.  Also a reminder that FINAL payment is due July 29th.  Make sure you're not caught by surprise.

The closer we get, the more excited I am.  I've never been anywhere with 31 friends, no less on a cruise ship!!

STEPH-Richard and I went to the post office for passports last Tuesday. we were told they were talking ABOUT 6 weeks to process NOW, but by June would be taking AT LEAST 2 months. The lady was very impressed thaat we had everything "in order" and our applications filled out, etc (we had gotten our pics done at Walgreen's)-I gave YOU all the credit for THAT!!!

I did mine at the county clerks' office last Wednesday with everything complete. and I was easy and only $100 still.

How wonderful!  Do you guys do this every year?  Maybe I can jump on board in 2011!

DP-it's not an OH or TMB event, -just the brainchild of our wonderful STEPHANIE-we''re doing the Carnival Ectasy, out of Galveston, Sept 27th. Many of us (like me and my DH) are first time cruisers--others are old hand at it..

That's awesome!!!  I know you guys are going to have a fabulous time!!! I've never cruised myself so I'll be interested to hear of your journeys and hopefully see some fabulous pic.

I do have a question for you though:  This maybe a something really obvious, but I see "DH" a lot on here....what does that mean?  Sorry still learning!

Yes the cruise was my idea.  We've got 31 of us going. We did all meet thru OH but this is not a sponsored event, just a bunch of us getting together.  There's still cabins available if you can find a roomie and want to book a room.  It's Sept 27th-Oct 2nd Galveston-Progresso-Cozumel.

Ah crap..... gotta get this done!!!  Walgreens does passport pics???

yes, and they are fast. Like 30 minutes.  $7.50
