We'll dedicate today's WLS Express in memory of our dear conductor David W's mother who passed away yesterday from complications of cancer. Many prayers for David and his family.
I have SS and early church this morning, then a trip to Walmart for some things and then home for the afternoon. Ben and I are supposed to eat dinner at my sister's tonight.
Prayers for Charlene as she travels to her mom's side in CA. Prayers for Michelle as she takes care of her mom. Prayers for Jenny and Eric and all others who are sick or hurting.
Have a great Sunday!

Prayers going up for David and his family. I'm blessed to still have both my parents, but the older I get the more it scares me to know that one day they will be gone.
Well, the move went off without any hitches yesterday! Wooohooo! Of course both the movers and the AT&T guy showed up at the end of their time windows, but we still got everything done. There were only two guys moving all our stuff. I felt so bad for them since we have a bunch of really heavy furniture, but they got everything loaded into the truck in about 2 hrs. Unloading was much faster since our new place is on the first floor. The dogs got locked in the closet and bathroom all day and cried nearly the whole time, but they love the new place.
AT&T got our internet, TV and phone set up and Jeff is in the process of setting up the office. My computer is still scattered around the house, so I've hijacked his laptop while he's sleeping. I've started unpacking the kitchen stuff. I will like my kitchen, I will like my kitchen... If I say it enough, maybe I'll believe it. My old kitchen was enormous with tons of cabinets and counter tops, especially for an apartment. This one is a normal, small, oddly shaped apartment kitchen and I'm going to have to get really creative to make it work the way I want. However, it's a small price to pay for a much better location and more space overall.
We'll get our new washer and dryer tomorrow, and I have to share what an awesome deal we got! We went to Fry's, Home Depot, Best Buy and finally the Sears Outlet store on Friday looking. I've been shopping online and looking at the Consumer Reports guide, and had picked out some low to mid-range ones that were within our price range. The outlet store had some and so we were leaning that way, when Jeff saw an incredible deal. There was a Whirlpool Cabrio steam dryer for 50% off, normally $979 on sale for $481!! Then we found a GE Profile high efficiency washer for 30% off, normally $679 on sale for $469! We got much higher end appliances than we thought we could and I'm sooo happy we went to the outlet store before we bought anything.
OK, I've rested enough, time to get back to the boxes. Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

I need an accoutability partner - anyone interested???
I have a plan for this week - scale creeped up on me; combination of travel and no workouts for two weeks, but I'm at my limit of 155... So, it's time to take control.
Have a plan in place to deal with the food and workouts, but want to be held accountable to someone other than myself.
Anyone on board with accountability???
My plan for the week is as follows;
Workouts: M-20 min cardio followed by upper body, arms, back and chest weights
Tu-20 min cardio to workout the soreness
W-30 min cardio followed by upper body, arms & abs workout
Th-Stretching and lower body workout including squats, cardio break
F-35 min cardio and stretching
Sat-Break and too many errands to run
Su-35 min cardio followed by upper body, arms, back and chest with weights
Dinners for Week:
Salsa Turkey Burgers (no buns) with baked onion rings (homemade) & Salad
Baked Crispy Fish with cucumber/onion salad
Broiled Parmesan Fish with brocolli salad
Cabbage Veggie Soup with beef & corn/black bean salad
Chicken Stir Fry & green salad
Breakfast and Lunch is under control, but dinner tends to get away from me....
Thoughts?
