Job Hunting Prayer Request
Hello all!!! I have so much to be thankful for over the last year and a half. In September of 08, my beautiful son was born. Just two months later, I was banded which was one of the best decisions I have ever made. In April of 2009, I lost my job as a Branch Accountant due to the economy. My family and I then went through a foreclosure then followed closely by a bankruptcy. And then we faced
divorce. I am convinced that while most of these things could be very stressful, I am relieved. I did not care for my boss anyway!!! I did love my job and the other people that I worked with but who wants to be bullied by their boss everyday??? I am also glad that we lost the house in foreclosure. It was way more than we could really afford anyway. With the bankruptcy, we were able to have our credit card debt discharged. And the divorce, well, we were headed there long before my son was born or the job loss came about. BUT, now I am 17 months post op and down 120 pounds with just 10 or 15 pounds left to go to make my goal. I am healthier than ever and feel great. And now, it is time that I reenter the job force. My resources will run out soon so I would really appreciate it if you would say a prayer for me as I post resumes all over Fort Worth for some sort of accounting job.

Thanks so much!!! Yes, it has been a whirlwind of a time but I really am happier than I have EVER been. I have a daughter that is 12 (almost 13) who has been a super big blessing through it all. She is a trooper. I would welcome any connections right now!!! I have been out of work for one year now and I am ready to go back. This economy will not hold me back!!!
dang woman, i think you are trying to on up me on the stress for the last year lol. KIDDING! Congrats to you on coming out the other side a better person!!!!!!! AND WOW great job with the band.

LOL...trust me, I was not trying to one up anyone!!! It just kinda HAPPENED!!!! But, all things really do happen for a reason and I look back just a year ago and can not believe that I allowed myself to be so unhappy for so long. The surgery certainly gave my self confidence a boost and my ex hubby did not like that too much! OWELL....that's when you know it's time to get rid of the hubby! LOl
