Just know that Huntsville-Madison County/North Alabama is a nice place, with nice people.

Really, really?  The TMB is talking about your area.......why.  I personally think  you are here to start trouble, please go back to the AL board if that is your intent.  We DO take care of our own.

If you are suppose to be the Christian you say you are why would to talk about the person (whomever it is) to ALL of us on the TMB.  It really isn't any of our business.

And you have to come here with 2 accounts.  If you have a problem with anyone on the Texas board why don't you take it to PM and not put it out here IF you don't want comments back and you can't stand by what you say.

I wonder what made you decide all of a sudden to come to the TX board and bash someone.  I don't think any of us have been visiting the Alabama board to get personal about anyone that we decided we didn't like.  We care about each other and though we may have differences or disagreements with each other from time to time, we don't take kindly to outsiders bashing our fellow Texans, even if they might have had to be temporarily in GA, DE or AL, the banjo state!
Please refrain from doing this.  It is inappropriate and unlady like to make something of this nature public.

Not sure your reason for posting this. I am sure she let her car be driven because you knew this guy and she did not so she trusted you. Kind of sad one of her new friends did not make sure she was safely home and tucked in. People do make mistakes in their life and I was taught to give people a second chance and not to judge lest ye be judged. you are right alcohol and wls don't mix very well but even a new friend could count on me to have her back. Kind of a sad situation for her.

Hello?  Maybe it's people like YOU that are the reason.

Personally, I've never taken any remarks said on this board as BASHING the Huntsville area but rather a strong desire to "come home".  When someone has to move to another state to find employment it must be a very difficult situation to leave behind everyone and everything you know in order to make a living.  Southern manners must of passed you by if you resort to such low tactics in order to make yourself feel better.  YOU alone are giving Alabama a bad reputation.  As you can see, a Mama Bear protects her cubs by chasing away the danger...so shoo fly, shoo before we really swat you.

I am a native Texan and Houstonian.

I lived in Huntsville, AL for 18 months from June 2005 to December 2006 and when I drove back to Texas for the last time, I got out of the car and kissed the Texas soil as I crossed the border from Louisiana to Texas on I-10.

I was homesick for Texas the whole time I was there.

The people were friendly but very clique-ish.

I did not enjoy my time there; it was an experience I would not want to repeat.  I did learn from it though - while Huntsville AL is a nice place to visit I would NEVER want to live there again.

No bashing, just stating my reality.

Go back to the AL board and stir your pot there - we don't need you stirring crap on the Texas Message Board.
