We are family Wednesday WLS Express
Some day I will get to meet you. I was really excited when I thought you and Bill were meeting Terry and me at Chicken Oil last Sept. before the football game. I was bummed you had to leave town!
Today is a get there around 11:00, pick Ben up at his dorm, meet a Livingston friend who is there for lunch. I have another friend riding with me and then we have an appt. with Aggieland Aparment Locators as soon as we get done eating. Ben has Geology lab at 6:00 so I hope to leave around 5 and be back home by 7:00...it will be a fast and furious day.

Sounds fast and furious!! I have faith that we will meet one day, if not in Aggieland, then in Livingston! We had too much fun at the lake so we will definitley be making another trip!

"Livin' Large, But Not Morbidly Obese!"
Good morning all! I'm hoping to have a woohoo after my doc appointment this morning. I'm really really hoping to find out if we're having a boy or girl, so I'll come back and post later if I find out.
As far as saying something positive about our family here, I pretty much have nothing but positive to say. Yes the board dynamics have changed, unfortunately I think that is pretty normal. We've lost a lot of regular posters from when I first started, but we've also picked up new people along the way. One thing that I know I can always count on is being able to come here and celebrate, cry, commiserate or share whatever is on my mind and know that are people who care.
Personally I'm aware that I'm not as engaged here, in real life, on FB, etc lately. I'm not sure why that is, but I'm hoping it's just the craziness of getting ready to move. I've talked to a couple of people about feeling disconnected lately and I know that I have to move past that regardless of what I feel. Our Collin Cty support group has pretty much fallen apart and that makes me sad, so that might be part of my funk also.
So, do I have any answers? Nope. Wish I did, but I do know that each and every one of you hold a very special place in my heart and I cherish every time I get to see you and spend time with you. Being part of this group has brought more happiness, friendship and love into my life than I can express adequately. For all of our problems, we do care about each other and for that I am forever thankful.

Good morning all. I love my TMB family. I have seen support on here like none other. I was new last year when I went to the OH conference. They really praised the TMB. Since then, I have experienced that for myself.
When I had complications to my WLS, you guys were right there to give me advice and support. It was people on here that refered me to my WONDERFUL new WLS Surgeon. Now that my problems have been fixed, I like to repay the support.
I agree about the mixed nuts... I wouldn't want to be on a board with nothing but nuts like me... A few nuts like me are enough for the bag LOL. There are a lot of people that come on here and post things that aren't related to WLS,but I enjoy seeing them. We share our lives. We all smile laugh and cry together. That is what makes us family. It is my belief that there is more positive here than negative.
I love you guys!!! And I STILL believe that the TMB rocks!!!
