Debbie,

It's the Western brand from Walmart that is in the refrigerator section.  The ones that make the Alternative bagel.  Not all walmarts carry them

when I can't find them, I do the Thomas whole grain, 100 calorie english muffin. 5 grams of protein and like 15 net carbs.  When I get it with eggs I usually can't do the whole english muffin in one meal.  So the carbs are even less.

Good morning..

I had a fairly decent weekend.........still have improvements to make....but its a start.

Todays plan...............

Lots of liquids.....trying for 100oz............i may be retaining some...so I may back off a little....

B -  Breakfast burrito from Braums  (eggs, bacon only, pico)  peels the tortilla away from it.
I allowed 400 cal for this...maybe a little over kill.......but it is in the diary already....

Snack:   um.......not too hungry right now............i have homemade beef jerky with me though - so I'm ready for anything that comes my way......

Lunch:   1/2 cup cottage cheese..............or an Atkins shake....

Dinner:  Leftovers...................cottage cheese, peanut butter, maybe.............or s.w. style eggbeaters w/ 4 cubes of velveeta cheese & bacon bits?   who knows................maybe an Atkins Shake............

I have my lunch bag filled with good stuff........so whatever I eat will be from that bag ONLY !!

BTW...THE BEEF JERKY TURNED OUT WONDERFUL.
I got a rump roast and had Krgoers sliced it thin..........marinated it in soy sauce, liquid smoke mixture with several splashes of worchestershire sauce..........then cooked in my NuWave oven for multiple hours........till desire of doneness.

HAVE A GREAT DAY -  I KNOW THAT I WILL

  • Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose.  Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email.  I'll answer it as soon as possible.
