Wow- 3 hours later than my normal posting time and noone has started the train. ALL ABOARD!

Good morning.  I have my mom's "cousin reunion" at her house today.  Her cousins and some of my cousins will be there.  It should be fun.  My stepfather was cooking BBQ brisket.  I made a huge layered vegetable salad and a huge chocolate sheath cake and buttermilk pie to take. 

Ben had a stomach virus and strep throat and ended up coming home yesterday to get to the dr. before she closed at noon.  His stomach seems to be better.  He's had the strep for over a week but got some penicillin (Amoxil) to help him get over it.

GOOD MORNING! I slept till 6:30am which is way later than normal for me. I'm watching Chris Rock on the Bill Maher show. He is so funny.
We will be headed out for RNS in a little bit. No run this morning because Bryan's legs and back are hurting. Then we're going to Maya's soccer game at 10:50am. We will take both neices home with us for the afternoon so my sister has a break and then she'll come to Chris's soccer game at 6pm.
Woke up in more foot pain than normal. Overall I'm managing and its def different pain than before. I just think it will take a while to recover. I'm still in the surgery shoe and I might get to go to regular shoes in about a week when I see him again.

Prayers continue for Eric, Jenny's mom, Michelles mom, Gina's Chris, Debra's son, and all others who are need at this time.

I'm up, I'm here and that's about all I can say for myself.  I'm not a real happy camper this morning, I absolutely hate controversy and confrontation, got slapped in the face with both of those yesterday evening on two different fronts. Needless to say, I am not in the best mood this morning and feel the need to avoid people until my head wraps around it all. All I can say is, I can't get the he[[ outta AL soon enough! I will say that this gives me an enormous amount of incentive to dive into the scary, sewing/spare bedroom and start digging through boxes.  Unfortunately, I don't think I can get out of here any sooner than I had originally planned, except for maybe a couple of days.

I hope it is not too late to hop on this train that apparently is east bound....since the last stop was at Mari's (Alabama), it headed to Georgia....

Today was my last Saturday to work during tax season...this is definitely a day of celebration!!!  I got to work this morning about 1015-1030am, as I had an 845am hair appt so I worked until 600pm and I am a tired lil puppy tonight.  I stopped and picked up dinner (grilled catfish) on the way home, and it was yummy.  And now I am drinking on my favorite drink...Jack and C/F diet coke.  Yes, even when I am being bad (having a ****tail), I can be good!!!  And I am trying to get some laundry done...because they dont wash themselves.

Norma my sister is counting down the days....she said the same thing today.....last Saturday of tax season.  I hope this week goes by quickly and you get hope on the plane to Texas.

Thank you for understanding how I feel...with Don here last year, he definitely took alot of the 'home' stress off of me...and now I really do realize ALL that he did do for me...I did realize it last year when it was happening, but now that he is back in Texas...I DO realize it up close and personal...kwim???
