Jenny sent a text message that her Mom is at Denton Regional being admitted overnight to monitor her.  CT scan shows she had a minor stroke and she hopes to know more soon.

Jenny's parents are staying here in town to help out with Rhi while Eric recovers, and both her Mom and Dad have some medical issues they are dealing with as well.

Please say some prayers for them, Jenny is on her way up there to be with her Mom.  Praying that it is resolved quickly and doesn't leave any long term problems.

OMG - Those poor kids! - she has really had her hands full and now this!  Sending up LOTS of prayers for Mom, hoping that it is VERY minor and will have no residual effects.

Thanks everyone. I don't know anything else right now except my moms bloodwork came back completely out of whack. She's been on coumadin for a while because of a blood clot on her heart around her pacemaker and it was something like double what it should be. Same thing for her digoxin (sp?). Add into that really low hemoglobin and anemia, it's a recipe for disaster. She was barely coherent this morning and that's what made my dad bring her in. Thank goodness he did when he did.

They did a CT scan on her and saw some sort of "episode" in her brain so that's why they're keeping her right now. I don't know what to think anymore. And of course she has to be put in the medical oncology ward so my brain starts wondering if she really has lesions in her brain or something. Apparently I just can't get away from cancer wards right now. Ugh. I'm just trying to stay mentally strong. Problem is, I just don't think I can pull much deeper to be honest.
