What is your Woo Hoo for Wacky Wednesday?????
My woo hoo:
On Easter my Grandaughter Teenie was looking at my pictures. We acme to one of us on vaca about6 years ago visiting Ken's sis. Now you must understand Teenie is 8 and until she moved here this past fall I had not physically seen her since she was 3!! well she would point and I would tell her who someone was. She got to me and said "and who is that?", I told her it was me! Her eyes got big as saucers and she said "but Granny you're not fat"!!! She wanted to see more pictures of fat granny and just could not believe that was me!! She was so cute!!

My WOO HOO for today is kinda unusual..... but then I have strange hobbies LOL.
There is an abandoned house on company property that is due to be torn down but bees had moved into the walls again. Last time they exterminated them but this time they hired a beekeeper to remove them and save the bees. I am a beekeeper but have never done a "cutout" as it is called, so I brought my bee suit and gloves to work and helped her yesterday.
The bees were getting in through a hole cut for the natural gas pipe that entered the soffit under the roof eave and they built their comb on the plywood decking of the roof. Since the house was being torn down she didn't have to worry about repair, so she decided to get them from the top (saved dripping honey all over us if she went through the eave). She got on the roof and cut a hole in it to get the the bees and comb. I stood on the ladder for quite a while and finally realized I am small and agile enough now to get on the roof, SO I DID! I sat up there for several hours removing comb, bees and looking for the queen (finally found her). NO WAY could I have done that pre-WLS.

My Woo Hoo/Wow moment yesterday was during my brain MRI. I've had several of them over the years due to my m.s. diagnosis, but until yesterday, I hadn't had one since before my RNY.
I used to barely squeeze into that MRI machine like so much sausage into a casing. Now, 113 lbs. later, no squeezing required!
Also, the techs had an easier time starting my IV for the contrast dye: not so many layers of fat to dig through on my arm.
