return of the wandering RNY patient

hi guys, it's me again, finally! I'm in Singapore again, but only for a few more days, then it's home to Richmond to stay! Yay!! I know I've been MIA for a while, but life has been complicated. Elderly parents, sick hubby, and international travel have been keeping me busy. And then, massive stupidity hit me like a ton of bricks about 6 weeks ago and I had unnecessary gall bladder surgery, unnecessary because Dr. Spivak had removed mine when he did my bypass 3 yrs ago, but I didn't remember because of the fog of pain and meds due to the staph infection I had immediately after. Of course, Hubby remembered, but he was still in Singapore and I was feeling like I had to rush to have this done because a certain Harvard educated gastrointerologist told me it was needed right away! The radiologist at a Sugar Land hospital misread the ultrasound and that same evening I was waking up in West Houston M.C. with a new scar.
Oh well, I'm back to my work-out routine and feeling kind of low because in just 6 wks I had lost all my tone (which wasn't anything to write home about) and my endurance is shot. Hubby is asking if I would consider having a tummy tuck and I'm very interested if I can find a doc I can trust, but after the last experience, I'm leaning toward getting all my medical care from House and Gray's Anatomy with a little MASH thrown in for good measure.
So can anybody out there offer any good advice? A good doc who listens and doesn't rush you? and what about cost and recovery time? I'm curious about this Dr. Ahmadi's Lipotuck procedure, but it sounds kind of experimental. I'm tired of being the office science project for these docs, I want somebody who actually cares about me as an individual and takes into account my particular life style and wants. Is there such a doc out there?

Thanks Lynne, I'll give him a call. I'm also looking at Dr Ahmad Ahmadi's lipotuck procedure if I can get some info about him and it.
