Forum Newbie questions

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to officially say hi to the group.  I've made a few postings but not introed myself officially.  I am currently waiting for approval for RNY (submitted on Thursday, April Fools day) and of course, am very excited and hopeful that I will get the "okay" next week.

First of all, I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for your postings, answers and sharing of your experiences.  I can't tell you how instrumental all of your postings have been to me over the last month as I have been going through all of the process to get ready for the surgery.  Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I'm going to the Houston conference in Nov. so I'm very excited to meet everyone! But in the meantime, I hope to get involved on the message board.  As a newbie, it's hard to figure out the terminology, I just found the post about the "Nigh****chmen" so I now know what that is (which is great!)  But I do have a question:  What is the WLS Express?

WLS is weight loss surgery, the express is what we call this train of messages each day! Someone starts the"train" every morning.

Please don't feel stupid asking any questions.   What surgery have you chosen to have and who is going to do it.   We are really excited for you and will be excited to get to know you better.    I have a support group that meets in Hurst and will meet next sunday if you want to come.   I will be posting about it on the TMB tomorrrow.    Welcome to the TMB ( texas message board ).     Good luck as you begin your process.

Hi, welcome.  I'm going to the Houston conference too.  It will be great, as they all are.  It's better to ask than it is to not know the answer.  Of course you are bound to get a dozen different answers, but that just gives you more options to consider.  I hope to see you at the conference.
