Easter Eve WLS Express
Post your Easter traditions...
My family has a big Easter Egg Hunt for all the "kids"...keeping in mind a 4th grader is the "baby". They go all the way to 29 yrs. old. We hide candy and money in the eggs. Each family pitches in money to help stuff the eggs so whoever the big winner is...is a happy kid on egg hunt day. My nephews gf got about $85 last year and was so happy. Ben only got $3 and was not happy. We'll see what happens today!
We are having a crawfish boil and egg hunt this afternoon/evening at my sister and BIL's house. My brother and his family are coming from Katy and I asked Ross to come home from work when he gets off.
Planning on a fun only day today...got the house cleaned yesterday.
Viv...ignore the nuts on the revision board...they'll all go to a really hot place someday.
Prayers for Michelle's mom, Eric, and all others who need our prayers.
Have a great Easter Eve!

Good morning!! Being lazy here...lying up in the recliner, drinking Click and watching shows that have been stored in the DVR all week...home by myself..LOVE mornings like this!! I need to get up do my boys' Easter baskets while they're gone. Yes, I KNOW they are 18 and 20 years old..but they STILL gotta have a basket...or they might not believe in the Easter Bunny anymore..Chris's basket is a race car..Corbin's is a camo jeep...the Easter Bunny even found plastic camo eggs to fill...too cool...
Not planning to work, but not sure what else the rest of my day will bring. I DO know I'm working on upping my water today-yesterday's intake was TERRIBLE...
Hope everyone has a SUPER Saturday!

We Can Do Hard Things
I was good/bad today. I stopped to buy gas and got a drink and sitting there were Resses eggs. I had resisted up until now. I bought one, ate 1/2 and threw the rest out of the window. So at least I just ate 1/2. lol.
Traditions- we always got our Easter baskets full of stuff hidden- the Easter bunny found new places every year. Once they were hidden in the piano! Then we'd get our Easter dresses and hats on and go to church. We would have Easter dinner with my grandma who lived down the road.
When Chris was 2 I forgot to hide the basket for him -he woke us up and climbed into bed with us and then I remembered- CRAP! He'd already seen his room and the living room/kitchen/dining room (all one area) so I hid it the 1 place I knew he hadn't been-the bathroom. I put it in the bathtub. He thought it was hilarious and told everyone at church that the Easter bunny hid it in the bathtub. Every year until recently it was there. Now he just gets cash in an egg. This year maybe I will hide it in his tub.
Hope everyone has a great day today and tomorrow!
